Yesterday, I went to the store to get some bottles. I need to make some homemade essential oil blends. So I went to the store looking for some small bottles. Those 30ml eye dropper bottles are perfect for me.
Finding the Right Bottles
I went to a few different stores and looked around. And I saw some plastic ones and some glass ones. The plastic bottles were cheaper, but I wanted something a bit nicer. So I looked at the glass bottles. I finally found these amber glass bottles. These bottles looked nice, and they had a little dropper thing, which is exactly what I needed.

Checking the Size
These bottles are just 1 ounce, or 30 milliliters, which is good for my essential oil mixes. I read the label on the package to make sure they were the right size. Then I also looked at the droppers to make sure they worked okay. They were able to hold about 1.5 ml. This would be great for dispensing the oil drop by drop.
Making Sure They’re Clean
Before I put my essential oils in, I need to clean the bottles. Even though they were new, I wanted to make sure they were super clean. So when I got home, I washed them with soap and hot water. Then I did a quick sterilization. It’s kind of a simple way to boil them. This will kill any germs. I let them air dry completely before using them.
Filling Them Up
Now for the fun part! I made my own special essential oil mixes. I used a small funnel to carefully pour the oils into the bottles. The amber glass is good because it helps protect the oils from light. This will make them last longer. I made sure not to fill them all the way to the top. You have to leave some room for the dropper.
Labeling the Bottles
After filling the bottles, I made some simple labels for them. I wrote down what was in each bottle and the date I made them. The labels I used were about 1.50” x 3.00” in size. It fits perfectly on the bottles. I stuck the labels on the bottles, and now they look very organized. I put them in a cool, dark place to keep the oils fresh. These bottles are really handy for my essential oil blends. I’m happy with how everything turned out!
