Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with these Frio Bar things lately. You know, those disposable vapes that are all the rage now? I wanted to see what the fuss was all about, and let me tell you, it’s been an interesting ride.
First off, I grabbed a bunch of different flavors. I mean, the selection is wild. They’ve got everything from cool mint to raspberry watermelon and even blue razz ice. It’s like a candy store in there. But I went with a few classics to start. Oh, the place I got these from had them for around 12.99 each. Not bad, right?

I started by unwrapping one of them. It is a small boxy thing. The one I picked up first was the cool mint. Took a puff, and boom – instant freshness. It was pretty smooth, not harsh at all. I was actually surprised because some of these things can be pretty rough on the throat. I found out later that it’s because of the high nicotine. They use something to make it smoother, which is great. Otherwise, it would be too much.
Then, I moved on to the fruity ones. The raspberry watermelon was a winner. It was like a burst of summer in my mouth. I could see myself puffing on this one all day long. And the blue razz ice? It had that cool kick to it, which was a nice change of pace. I’m not usually into those icy flavors, but this one was alright.
I also found out that these Frio Bars come pre-filled with a good amount of liquid, like 16mL on the DB7000 model. And the battery? 650mAh. That’s enough to last you a while, and it’s even rechargeable with a USB-C. No more tossing them out when the battery dies. I saw another model, the MX 10K, which even has a little screen to show the battery and e-juice levels.
- Unwrapped the Frio Bar
- Tried the cool mint flavor
- Moved on to raspberry watermelon
- Tested the blue razz ice
- Checked out the e-liquid capacity and battery life
Now, these things are supposed to last for a ton of puffs. I’ve heard numbers like 7000 for the DB7000 and even 10,000 for the MX 10K. I haven’t gotten that far yet, but they’ve definitely lasted me longer than other disposables I’ve tried.
The other thing I noticed was the coil. They use this dual mesh coil thing, and I guess it’s supposed to make the flavor better. I don’t know the technical stuff, but I can say the flavors did taste pretty good. I read that they also use tea fiber cotton, whatever that means. All I know is that it seems to work. The flavor stays strong and doesn’t get all burnt-tasting like some others I’ve had.
My Overall Thoughts
So, yeah, I’ve been digging these Frio Bars. They’re convenient, the flavors are on point, and they last a decent amount of time. Are they the best thing ever? I don’t know, but they’re definitely worth a try if you’re into these disposable vapes. I’m probably going to try out some of the other flavors, maybe some dessert ones. I saw that the R5000 model has some interesting options. I might grab a few more and do another taste test. Who knows, maybe I’ll even switch over to these permanently. Time will tell!
Oh, and one last thing. I’ve seen some people complaining about the nicotine strength. It is pretty high, like 50mg or 5%. But that’s kind of the point of these things, I guess. Just be aware of that if you’re not used to it. I heard from a guy at a vape shop that people complain all the time about it being too strong. I guess you need to get the right amount for it to be smooth. They use something called nicotine salts, which helps, but still, it’s something to keep in mind.
Alright, that’s my Frio Bar experience so far. I might do an update later if I discover anything new. But for now, I’m going to enjoy my raspberry watermelon. Cheers!
