Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this thing called “daze flavors.” Yeah, I wanted to try and see if I could make some of my own, you know, for fun. And, like, to save a bit of money, maybe. I started by grabbing some stuff I had lying around the house.
First, I got a bunch of different herbs from my kitchen – you know, like basil and mint. I figured, why not, right? I rinsed them really well, made sure to get all the dirt off. Then, I chopped them up real small. I mean, tiny pieces. I wanted the flavor to really come through, so smaller pieces meant more flavor, I figured.

- I took some basil from my little herb garden out back.
- Grabbed some mint too – the smell was already amazing.
- Even found some honey in the cupboard that I thought might work.
- Date sugar, too, why not give it a shot?
I’m thinking, this stuff is way fresher than what you buy at the store. So, I found this old vape pen, cleaned it all out—this took a while, by the way. I wanted to make sure nothing was stuck in there, checked the battery and all that. Had to use some Q-tips and stuff to really get in the nooks and crannies.
My main goal was to see if I could get a good flavor going, something that tasted natural, you know? Not that fake stuff. I had to make sure it wasn’t too tight after I cleaned it.
Next, I carefully put the chopped herbs into the vape. It was kind of tricky, not gonna lie. Had to use tweezers to get the little pieces in there. Then, I added just a tiny bit of honey, like a drop. And a sprinkle of that date sugar. I didn’t want it to be too sweet, just a hint.
I put the whole thing back together, took a deep breath, and… fired it up. It took a few tries to get the heating right. I didn’t want to burn the herbs, just kinda warm them up to get the flavor out.
The Result
Honestly? It wasn’t half bad! The basil and mint were definitely there, and that little bit of honey made it smooth. I might tweak the recipe a bit, maybe add some other stuff next time. But for a first try, I was pretty stoked. It is kind of a cool feeling, making your own flavors like this.
I just wanted to share this experiment with y’all. Maybe you can give it a try sometime, too. It was a fun little project and a nice way to spend the afternoon. Who knows, maybe I’ll come up with some killer flavor combinations down the road. Let me know if you guys try this out, too, I’d love to hear what you think!
