Hey everyone, it’s been a while! Today, I wanna talk about my little experiment with nicotine-free Vuse pods. So, I’ve been trying to cut down on nicotine, and these seemed like a good way to do it. I grabbed a pack of the Vuse Go 700, the ones that are supposed to have zero nicotine. The packaging clearly said “0%” so I was feeling pretty good about it.
First thing I did was check out the different flavors they had. They’ve got all sorts, but I went for the Smooth Tobacco. I’m a simple man. I figured, if I’m gonna be vaping without nicotine, I might as well stick with a flavor I’m used to. I mean, there were the Golden, Exotic, Clear, and even a Clear Ice, but I wasn’t feeling too adventurous at the time.
Getting Started
- Unboxing: Ripped open the box, pretty standard stuff. You get the device itself, already pre-filled and ready to go. No messing around with refilling or anything like that.
- First Puff: Took a drag, and honestly, it felt pretty similar to the regular Vuse pods I was used to. The draw was smooth, the vapor production was decent, and the flavor… well, it was tobacco-y. Not bad, not great, just… there.
Now, the whole point of this was to see if I could get the same satisfaction without the nicotine hit. I vaped on these for a few days, just going about my normal routine. I gotta say, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I was definitely missing that little buzz you get from nicotine, but the act of vaping itself still felt kind of satisfying. It’s like, my hands and mouth were still getting what they wanted, even if my brain wasn’t getting that nicotine kick.
I did a little digging online, just to see what other people were saying about these things. Seems like Vuse offers these pods in different nicotine strengths, from 0 all the way up to 18mg. They had 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 18mg as well. I was specifically using the zero-nicotine ones, but it’s good to know there are options if you’re trying to gradually reduce your intake. I did read that there can still be some irritation to your lungs and throat even without the nicotine, so I tried to not overdo it.
Did it Work?
Here’s the thing, after a few days, I did end up going back to my regular pods. The nicotine-free ones were okay, but they just weren’t quite cutting it for me. But I started to cut down after that experience. I think these could be a good option for someone who’s really trying to quit nicotine altogether, maybe as a stepping stone. For me, though, I guess I’m not quite there yet. Maybe it’s more of a mental thing, I don’t know. But hey, at least I gave it a shot, right? It wasn’t a total waste of time, and I learned a bit about myself in the process. That’s gotta count for something!
