Alright, let’s talk about these empty disposable vapes. So, I got into this whole disposable vape scene recently, and boy, has it been a journey. I mean, these things are everywhere now, right? Super easy to use, no need to mess with refilling or anything. Just puff away until it’s done.
I started noticing that sometimes these vapes just die out of nowhere. One minute you’re enjoying a nice puff, the next it’s just… nothing. And sometimes, they start making this weird hissing sound, which is kind of annoying, not gonna lie. Also, I’ve had a few that started tasting burnt, which is just gross.
So I did what any curious person would do – I started tinkering. First, I figured, maybe it’s just the battery. Most of these things have a charging port, even though they’re called “disposable.” I plugged one in, waited like 20 minutes, and boom, it started working again! Felt like a genius, not gonna lie. But, that didn’t always work. Some of them just stayed dead, no matter how long I charged them.
Next, I thought, maybe the inside is all messed up. I tried to pull one apart, gently of course. Inside, there’s this little cartridge thingy that holds the liquid, and a battery. I tried to take out the cartridge and put it back in. I don’t know if I just got lucky, but sometimes that seemed to do the trick, and the vape started working again. It was a bit hit-or-miss, though.
Then I had this one vape that was really stubborn. The battery seemed dead, no light, no nothing. I decided to mess with the battery directly, but I had no idea what I was doing. Anyway, I tried to connect some wires, it was a total fail. Don’t try that at home, kids. Let’s just say that didn’t bring it back to life. Maybe replacing the battery is a thing? but I didn’t go that far, it starts to feel less “disposable” then, you know?
I’ve also read somewhere that the e-liquid plays a role. If there’s no liquid, there’s nothing to vape. So, I took a peek at the cartridge. If it’s dry or close to empty, that’s probably the problem. I don’t know if you can refill these, seems like a lot of work for a disposable thing.
