Today, I felt like trying something different. I’ve been hearing a lot about these free disposable vapes, so I decided to see what the hype is all about. I’ve never been a smoker, but I was curious if these things really are a healthier alternative or just another gimmick.
First off, I had to find a way to get them for free. I remembered seeing a post about some recycling scheme. I found out it was by a company called Blo Bar. They offer a free disposable vape if you send them 10 used ones to recycle. That sounded like a pretty good deal, so I started gathering.

I asked around my friends who vape, collected a bunch of their used disposables – 10 total, all different brands. It was easy enough to do. Then, I packed them up and sent them to the address provided by Blo Bar. The waiting began.
A few days later, a package arrived. I opened it up, and there it was, my free disposable vape. It’s one of those zero-nicotine ones. I have to say, it looked pretty sleek. I’d heard that even nicotine-free vapes might still have trace amounts of nicotine, but I figured a little wouldn’t hurt.
- I took my first puff. Honestly, it was weird. It tasted like a strong artificial fruit flavor – nothing like what I expected.
- I puffed on it a few more times over the next hour. It was kind of fun, blowing out the vapor and all that.
- But honestly, I started to feel a little weird. Not like a buzz, but just…off. Maybe it was just in my head, but I didn’t like it.
Using the Disposable Vape
After using it for a bit, I thought about how these things are marketed. They’re cheap, easy to use, and you see them all over social media. But it’s hard to ignore the fact that they still contain chemicals. Even without nicotine, there’s propylene glycol, flavorings, and who knows what else in there.
I also remembered reading somewhere that even though these are advertised as nicotine-free, they sometimes still contain trace amounts of it. Plus, these things have metal parts like batteries and coils, which means they can be detected by metal detectors.
In the end, I don’t think I’ll be using this thing again. It wasn’t for me. I guess if you’re trying to quit smoking, maybe these could be helpful, but for someone like me who’s never smoked, it just felt unnecessary. I get the whole “healthier alternative” thing, but I’m not convinced. Plus, I felt kind of dumb walking around with it. It’s just not my style.
So, that’s my experience with free disposable vapes. Would I recommend it? Probably not. But hey, to each their own. If you’re curious, go for it, but just be aware of what you’re getting into. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows, and it’s definitely not something I’d do regularly.
