Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with these vape battery chargers lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a headache.
First off, I got this new vape pen, and of course, I was all excited to try it out. But the battery died pretty quickly. No big deal, I thought, I’ll just charge it up. But that’s when the trouble started.

I plugged it into the charger, and nothing happened. I mean, the little light didn’t even come on. I tried a different outlet, thinking maybe that was the issue, but nope, still nothing.
So, I started digging around to figure out what was going on. I found out that sometimes these batteries just get old and stop holding a charge. But mine was pretty new, so I figured that wasn’t it.
Then I thought, maybe it’s the charger? I had a few different ones lying around, so I tried them all. Still no luck.
- Check the connections: I made sure the battery was screwed on tight to the charger and that the charger was plugged in all the way.
- Clean the contacts: I read online that sometimes the little metal bits on the battery and charger can get dirty, so I gave them a good wipe with a cotton swab.
- Try a different cartridge: Maybe the cartridge itself is the issue. I swapped it out for an old one I had, just to see if that made a difference.
After all that, I finally got it to work. Turns out, the cartridge I was using was clogged. I used a hairdryer on the lowest setting to gently warm it up, and that seemed to do the trick.
It’s super annoying when your vape battery won’t charge, but sometimes it’s just a simple fix. Just make sure everything is clean and connected properly, and you might be able to avoid a lot of frustration.
The thing that got me was when I tried to check the voltage. I hooked up a voltmeter to the charger while it was plugged in, and the reading was way off. It was showing a much lower voltage than what the charger was supposed to be putting out.
So, yeah, it’s been a bit of a learning experience. I guess the moral of the story is, don’t give up too easily. Sometimes the problem is just a clogged cartridge or a dirty connection. And always double-check your charger’s voltage, ’cause you never know when it might be acting up.
