Okay, so I’ve been vaping for a while now, and I’ve gone through a ton of tanks. Seriously, my desk drawer looks like a graveyard of old vape gear. I finally decided to get serious about finding the absolute best sub ohm tank, the one that would give me the best flavor, biggest clouds, and least amount of hassle. Here’s how it went down.
The Hunt Begins
First, I started by making a list. I mean, who doesn’t love a good list? I jotted down all the things that were important to me: flavor (obviously!), cloud production (gotta have those big clouds!), coil life (because who wants to change coils every other day?), and ease of use (I’m not trying to rebuild a rocket ship here). Then I started looking some top-rated tanks online.

Round One: Testing, Testing…
Next, I picked out four tanks that seemed to be popular. I grabbed some of my favorite e-juice (a super tasty strawberry custard, by the way) and got to work.
- Tank #1: Looked super cool, all sleek and modern. But the flavor was…meh. And it leaked like crazy. Definitely a no-go.
- Tank #2: This one had amazing flavor! Seriously, the strawberry custard tasted better than ever. But the coils burned out way too fast. I was changing them every couple of days, which got old (and expensive) real quick.
- Tank #3: Decent flavor, decent clouds, okay coil life… but filling it was a nightmare! It had this tiny little fill hole, and I ended up spilling juice everywhere. So frustrating!
- Tank #4:The clouds were insane and it was super flavorful, and the coil life seemed pretty good. Filling was easy, no leaks… this one was a contender!
The Final Choice
After using each tank for about a week I realized that I kept using the same one. So, I stuck with the final one. I am having no major problems. My quest for the best sub ohm tank is finally over! The flavor is awesome, the clouds are huge, and I haven’t had to change the coil in almost two weeks. Plus, it’s super easy to fill, and I haven’t had a single leak.
