Okay, so my Vuse Vibe wasn’t charging the other day, and it was driving me nuts! I rely on that thing, you know? So, I figured I’d share what I did to fix it, in case anyone else runs into this problem.
My Troubleshooting Steps
First things first, I grabbed the charging cable that came with the Vuse. I looked it over real good for any obvious damage, like frayed wires or anything. Luckily, it looked fine.

Next, I checked the USB port on my wall adapter. I usually use the one by my bed, but I figured maybe it was the problem. I plugged my phone into it, and yep, my phone started charging just fine. So, the wall adapter wasn’t the issue.
- Check the cable: Make sure it’s not visibly broken.
- Test the power source: See if it charges other devices.
Then, it hit me – maybe there was some gunk in the charging port of the Vuse itself. I’ve had that happen with my phone before. So, I grabbed a toothpick (carefully!) and gently poked around in the little charging port on the Vuse. I didn’t see a ton of dust or anything, but I figured a little cleaning couldn’t hurt.
After that, I plugged the Vuse back into the charger, using the cable and the wall adapter I knew worked. And… still nothing. No little charging light. Ugh!
Then i just try using a different power source.I plugged it into my computer’s USB port.
And Bingo! I saw that beautiful little charging light come *’s charging!
So, yeah, that’s all it took. Just by trying the computer’s USB port to charge it, I avoided buying new ones. Turns out, sometimes it’s the simplest things. Hope this helps someone out there!
