Well, I’ll tell ya, this whole airport cart business, it’s a bit of a mess, ain’t it? You wanna bring your cart, you gotta know the rules, or they’ll give you a hard time, those airport folks.
First off, what kind of cart we talkin’ about? Them little rollin’ suitcases, they’re mostly okay, long as they ain’t too big. But those big ol’ shopping carts, the kind you use at the grocery store? Forget about it! They ain’t gonna let you drag that thing through security. They got their own carts for that.

- Little Carts, Okay Mostly: Suitcases with wheels, those are usually fine. Just make sure they fit in them overhead bins, or they’ll make you check ’em.
- Big Carts, No Way: Grocery carts, hand trucks, those big things? Leave ’em at home. They’ll just get in the way.
- Special Carts, Gotta Check: If you got a special cart, like for a kid or somethin’, you best call the airline ahead of time. They got rules for everything, you know.
Now, goin’ through security, that’s where it gets tricky. They gonna make you put your stuff on the belt, and that includes your cart, if it’s small enough. They’ll x-ray it and all that. And if you got somethin’ in there they don’t like, well, you gonna have problems.
Speaking of things they don’t like, them vapes and e-cigarettes, that’s a whole ‘nother story. Heard they let you bring ’em, long as they ain’t the kind with the weed in ’em. But they gotta check ’em, and if they ain’t sure, they might make you throw it away. Waste of good money, if you ask me.
So, before you even head to the airport, you gotta do your homework. Look up the rules on the airline’s website, or give ’em a call. Better safe than sorry, I always say. Nothin’ worse than gettin’ to the airport and findin’ out you can’t bring your stuff.
And another thing, them airports are big places, lots of walkin’. Even if you can bring your cart, it might be a pain to lug it around. Sometimes it’s easier to just check your bags and use their carts when you get there. Less hassle, that’s what I say.
TSA, they call ’em. Transportation Security Administration. Fancy name for folks who check your bags. They got their rules, and you gotta follow ’em. They lookin’ for bad stuff, you know, things that could hurt people. So, be patient, be polite, and do what they tell ya. It’ll make things go smoother, trust me.
Now, about them carts again. If you got a big bag, too big to carry on, you gotta check it anyway. So, no point in tryin’ to bring a big cart through security. They got carts at the baggage claim, you can use those to get your stuff. Makes sense, right?
And don’t go stockin’ up on them vape things before your trip. Bring one, maybe, if you really need it. But if they think it’s the bad kind, with that THC stuff, they’ll take it away. Better to be safe and just wait till you get where you’re goin’.
So, the long and short of it is, bringin’ a cart through the airport, it’s doable, but you gotta know the rules. Small carts, usually okay. Big carts, no way. Vapes, gotta be careful. And always, always check with the airline and the TSA before you go. That’s the best way to avoid trouble.

And remember, be polite to them airport folks. They just doin’ their job. A little kindness goes a long way, you know. Safe travels!
Last thing, check the size and the type of your cart before you leave the house. That way, you won’t be surprised when you get to the airport. And if it’s too big, just check it with your luggage. It’s easier than arguing with those TSA people.
