Okay, so I’ve been messing around with vaping for a while now, and like everyone else, I started with a JUUL. It was cool and all, easy to use, but man, those JUUL pods got expensive, and the flavors? Pretty limited after a while.
So, I started looking into these things called “compatible pods.” Basically, they’re pods made by other companies that fit your JUUL device. I was a little skeptical at first, like, are these even going to work? Are they going to leak all over the place? But the price difference was tempting, especially when I saw some packs going for like 15 bucks for four pods. That’s way cheaper than JUUL.

My Journey to Find the Best
First, I hit up the internet, just typing in “JUUL compatible pods” and seeing what popped up. There were a bunch of brands I’d never heard of, like Ziip, Eonsmoke, Sea Pods, and 4X Pods. It was kind of overwhelming, honestly.
- Ziip Pods: These seemed to be a popular choice, so I grabbed a pack. They had a ton of flavors, which was a nice change from the same old JUUL options.
- 4X Pods: Another one that kept coming up. I figured, why not? Tried a few of their flavors too.
- Eonsmoke Pods: These were a bit harder to find, but I managed to snag a pack online.
- Sea Pods: A friend recommended the Sea Pods and their variety of flavors.
- Airbender Pods: I saw a couple of reviews of this one, I need to try this one.
I started with the Ziip Pods. Popped one in my JUUL, and it fit perfectly. Took a puff, and it was… surprisingly good! The flavor was strong, maybe even stronger than a JUUL pod. I tried a few different flavors, and they were all pretty decent. The hit was good, and they didn’t leak, which was a major plus.
Next up were the 4X Pods. These were similar to the Ziip Pods, in terms of fit and performance. The flavors were a bit different, some I liked more than others. But they were still a good option, and the price was right.
Then I gave the Eonsmoke Pods a shot. These were okay, not as good as the first two, in my opinion. The flavor was a bit muted. But, they still worked, and they were still cheaper than JUUL pods, so I guess I couldn’t complain too much.
I tried the Sea Pods after my friend recommended them. It’s good, and I really like the variety of flavors. It’s really cost-effective.
I haven’t tried the Airbender Pods. I will try to find one and test them.
What I Found
After trying out a few different brands, I gotta say, I was impressed. Some brands, like Ziip Pods and 4X Pods, really gave the original JUUL pods a run for their money. They fit well, the flavors were solid, and they were way more affordable. Sea Pods were also pretty good and my friend really like them. Eonsmoke Pods were the least impressive, but still a viable option if you’re on a tight budget.
I know the FDA has been cracking down on flavored pods, and that’s probably affected the availability of some of these compatible pods. But, in my experience, there are still some great alternatives out there if you’re willing to do a little digging.

Oh, and I saw something about Plus Pods having more e-juice than JUUL pods, like an extra 1.2ml per pack. That’s like getting an extra pod for free! I haven’t tried those yet, but they’re definitely on my list.
From my testing, the Ziip Pods, 4X Pods, and Sea Pods are the best ones.
So yeah, that’s my experience with JUUL compatible pods. It’s been a bit of a journey, trying out different brands and flavors, but it’s definitely been worth it. I’m saving money, and I have way more flavor options now. If you’re a JUUL user, I definitely recommend checking out some of these compatible pods. You might be surprised at what you find!
