So, I’ve been vaping for a while now, and I’ve tried a bunch of different setups, you know, mods, tanks, the whole nine yards. But lately, I’ve been really digging these pod systems. They’re just so much more convenient and easier to deal with. I had tried a few out but I couldn’t find one that I really liked, they either didn’t have a good battery or just didn’t give me a good hit.
I did some digging around, read some reviews, and watched a bunch of YouTube videos, like I always do, trying to figure out which one to try next. The market was flooded with the things, which didn’t make it easier. I saw a few names kept popping up: Vaporesso, SMOK, Vabeen. Then, I read something about the Vaporesso XROS PRO and it sounded pretty good.

I decided to pull the trigger and ordered the XROS PRO. It was a bit more expensive than some of the others, but I figured it was worth a shot. I also grabbed a SMOK Nord 4. I’d heard good things about it, especially about the adjustable wattage, and I’m a sucker for options.
When they arrived, I ripped open the boxes like a kid on Christmas morning. First up, I tried the XROS PRO. Filled it up, let it sit for a bit to soak in, and took a hit. Damn! This thing was smooth. The flavor was on point, and it had a nice, satisfying throat hit. I played around with the airflow, and it was easy to get it dialed in just right.
- Vaporesso XROS PRO: This thing is legit. It’s got a solid build, feels good in your hand, and the battery life is pretty impressive. I could go almost a whole day without needing to recharge it. Plus, it looks pretty sleek, which is always a bonus.
Next, I gave the SMOK Nord 4 a go. This one was a bit different. It has more settings to mess with, which is cool if you like to tinker. I messed with the wattage and tried out a couple of different coils. It took a bit of experimenting, but I eventually found a setup that I liked. It was good, but honestly, the XROS PRO just hit better for me.
- SMOK Nord 4: Not bad, but a bit more fiddly than the XROS PRO. It’s good if you like having more control, but for a simple, no-fuss vape, it’s not my top pick.
I also picked up a Vabeen Flex series because they are disposable. I’m not really a fan of disposables, but these were okay. Super easy to use, no buttons, just inhale. They were good to have as a backup, but they didn’t replace the pod system.
- Vabeen Flex: Good for beginners or as a backup, but they didn’t blow me away.
After using both for a few weeks, I found myself reaching for the XROS PRO more often. It’s just so easy to use, and it consistently delivers a great vape. The Nord 4 is cool and all, but it’s just not as convenient. And the Vabeen Flex, well, they’re okay in a pinch but nothing to write home about.
So, if you’re looking for a new pod system, I’d definitely recommend checking out the Vaporesso XROS PRO. It’s a bit pricey, but in my opinion, it’s worth the extra cash. I do like the new XROS 4 Nano, too. It’s got a nice, compact design, and it vapes just as well as the PRO. But for me, the PRO is still the king. It’s just a solid, all-around great device. And hey, if you’re just starting out, you might want to try one of those disposable Vabeen Flex things first, just to get your feet wet. But trust me, once you try a good pod system, you won’t go back!
