Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with vapes for a while now, and recently, I’ve been on the hunt for the best small vape mod. I wanted something compact, but still packed a punch, you know? Here’s how my little adventure went.
I started out by checking out some online forums and reviews. There were a bunch of names that kept popping up. One that caught my eye was the Geekvape Aegis Mini. People were saying it’s super durable, which is great ’cause I can be a bit clumsy. It’s also got a built-in battery, so that’s one less thing to worry about. I watched a couple of YouTube videos about it, and it seemed pretty solid, so I decided to give it a shot.

When the Aegis Mini arrived, I was pretty stoked. It felt good in my hand, not too heavy but not flimsy either. I filled up the tank, which was a bit tricky at first, but I got the hang of it. The first few puffs were amazing! Good flavor, nice clouds, and it didn’t leak, which was a big plus for me. I used it for a couple of weeks, and it really held up. Dropped it a few times, and it didn’t even get a scratch.
- Durability: It’s shockproof, dustproof, and waterproof.
- Built-in battery: 2200mAh, which lasted me a good while.
- Power: It goes up to 80W, plenty for me.
Some key details of the Geekvape Aegis Mini that I liked:
But, you know, I’m always curious, so I didn’t stop there. I also heard good things about the Vaporesso GEN 80S. This one needs an external battery, which is a bit of a hassle, but I figured I’d try it out anyway. It’s a bit bigger than the Aegis Mini, but still pretty compact. It’s got a higher wattage range, up to 80W. I got my hands on one, popped in a battery, and gave it a whirl.
Honestly, the GEN 80S was pretty good too. The flavor was a bit more intense, and the clouds were definitely bigger. But I found myself reaching for the Aegis Mini more often. Maybe it was just the convenience of the built-in battery, or maybe I just liked the way it felt in my hand better. But this one was a very good mod too.
- Battery: Needs one 18650 battery.
- Wattage: 5-80W, so a good range.
- Tank Capacity: 5mL, which is pretty decent.
Some points about the Vaporesso GEN 80S:
I even tried the Geekvape L200 Aegis Legend 2, but that thing is a beast! It’s a dual-battery mod, so it’s way bigger than what I was looking for. It’s got tons of power, but it’s just not practical for carrying around every day. It is a cool one, but not for me.
So, after all that, I’d say the Geekvape Aegis Mini is my go-to for a small vape mod. It’s just the right size, it’s tough as nails, and it performs really well. The Vaporesso GEN 80S is a close second, especially if you want a bit more power. But for me, the Aegis Mini just hits the sweet spot.
It is really a good choice for me. You can try it too.
