Alright, so you wanna know about this Lost Mary thingy, the one with the 20,000 puffs? Yeah, I heard about it. Sounds like a whole lotta puffin’, that’s for sure. My old man used to smoke them hand-rolled cigarettes, took him maybe a whole day to finish one, these newfangled things, they just keep goin’ and goin’.
So, what’s the big deal with the flavors? Well, from what I gathered, they got a whole bunch of ’em. More than you can shake a stick at, I reckon. Folks are talkin’ about “bold flavors,” whatever that means. Probably means they ain’t shy about tastin’ like somethin’, not like that weak tea my neighbor brews. I heard tell of some of them flavors, like, uh… fruit ones, I guess. Berries and such. And maybe some of that… what do you call it… minty stuff? Keeps your breath fresh, they say. Though, I ain’t sure why you’d need fresh breath if you’re puffin’ on somethin’ all day long.
- They say it’s got somethin’ called “adjustable power.” Now, I ain’t no electrician, but I figure that means you can make it puff harder or softer, dependin’ on how you like it. Like turnin’ up the heat on the stove, I guess. Some folks like it hot, some folks like it mild.
- And it’s got this “nicotine” stuff in it. 5%, they say. Now, that nicotine, that’s the stuff that gets ya hooked, ain’t it? My old man, he was hooked on that nicotine. Couldn’t go a day without it. This thing, it’s got a fair bit of it, sounds like. Enough to keep you puffin’, I suppose.
They’re callin’ it a “disposable vape,” which means you use it ’til it’s done and then you toss it. Seems wasteful to me, but what do I know? Back in my day, we used things ’til they fell apart, and then we fixed ’em and used ’em some more. But I guess that’s just how things are now. Everything’s disposable. Like them paper plates they use at the church picnics. Convenient, I guess, but it just don’t feel right.
Now, about that 20,000 puffs… That’s a whole heap of puffin’. I can’t even imagine. Takes me a good long while just to finish a cup of coffee. And they say it’s got somethin’ called “e-liquid” inside. 25 milliliters, I heard. That’s like… a good spoonful, maybe two? And that e-liquid, that’s where all the flavor and the nicotine is. They mix it all up in there, and then you puff it out. Seems complicated, but I guess that’s progress for ya.
I also heard some folks talkin’ ‘bout something’s called “Innokin INNOBAR 20000”. Said it’s kinda like the Lost Mary, but maybe a different brand. Like Ford and Chevy, you know? They both make cars, but they ain’t exactly the same. This Innokin thing, it’s also got a lot of nicotine, they say. And it lasts a long time, just like the Lost Mary. So you got choices, I guess. Plenty of choices.
Anyway, that’s about all I know about these Lost Mary flavors and this 20,000 puff business. It’s a whole new world out there, with all these fancy gadgets and gizmos. I stick to my coffee and my crossword puzzles, myself. But if you’re into puffin’, well, I guess this Lost Mary thing is somethin’ you might wanna look into. Just don’t go puffin’ your life away, you hear? There’s more to life than just puffin’.
Just remember, everything in moderation, that’s what my grandma used to say. Even if it tastes like berries and sunshine, too much of anything ain’t good for ya. And don’t go throwin’ your money away on these things. Save a little, you never know when you might need it. That’s my two cents, anyway.
