So, I’ve been on the hunt for a new vape. I wanted something sturdy, something that could take a beating, you know? And I kept hearing about the GeekVape Aegis line. After some digging around, I decided to pull the trigger and see what all the fuss was about.
First things first, I needed to figure out which Aegis model I wanted. There’s a bunch of them! The Aegis Legend, the Solo, the Boost… it’s a bit overwhelming. I spent a good amount of time reading reviews and watching videos online. It seemed like most folks were raving about the durability, and that’s exactly what I was looking for.
I ended up going with the Aegis Solo 2, also known as the S100. It seemed like a good middle ground – not too bulky, but still tough as nails. Plus, it uses a single 18650 battery, which I already had a couple of.
Now, the price. This is where things get interesting. I’ve seen these things all over the place, from local vape shops to online retailers. And let me tell you, the prices can vary quite a bit. I saw some places selling just the mod for around $40, while others had the full kit (with the tank and everything) for upwards of $60. Some shops selling the full kit called Aegis Legend 2 + Z Subohm Tank 2021 Kit, and the price is higher than Aegis Solo 2.
I decided to shop around a bit before making a decision. I checked out a few different websites and compared prices. I even went to a couple of local shops to see what they were charging. You never know, sometimes you can find a good deal in person.
After comparing it, I found that the Geekvape Digi Max Pod Mod Kit is cheaper, its price is about $55.00, but it’s not my type, I perfer Aegis.
- Aegis Solo 2 (S100): This one caught my eye because it’s compact and uses a single 18650 battery. Price-wise, I found it for around $40-$60 depending on whether it was just the mod or the full kit.
- Aegis Legend 2: This is the bigger, dual-battery version. It’s even more durable, but also a bit pricier, I saw it listed for about $50-$70.
- Aegis Boost 3: This one is a pod system, which is a bit different. It’s smaller and has a built-in battery. It seemed like a decent option for around $30-$40, but I wanted something with a replaceable battery.
In the end, I found a pretty good deal online for the Aegis Solo 2 kit. I think I paid around $50 for it, which I was happy with. It came with the Z Subohm 2021 Tank, which I heard was pretty good too.
So far, I’m really digging the Aegis Solo 2. It feels solid in my hand, and I love the design. The vaping experience has been great, and I’m confident that this thing will last me a long time. I’ll keep you guys updated on how it holds up, but so far, so good! I’m glad I did my research and found a good price for this awesome vape.
