Okay, so I’ve been messing around with vaping for a while, trying different setups, you know? And I finally got around to trying a closed system vape. Here’s how it went down.
Getting Started
First, I picked up a popular closed system device. I’m not gonna name brands, but it’s one you’ve probably seen. It was pretty cheap, which was a plus. The kit came with the device itself, which is basically a battery, and a couple of pre-filled pods.

Figuring It Out
Honestly, there wasn’t much to figure out. That’s kind of the point of these things, right? I took the pod and clicked it into the top of the battery. It was magnetic, so it just snapped right in. No messing around with coils or filling tanks. Super simple.
The First Puff
I took a puff, and…it was okay. The flavor was there, for sure, but the vapor production was a bit less than what I’m used to with my open system mods. But, I mean, that’s expected. It’s a smaller device, less power, all that stuff.
The draw was pretty tight, which I actually liked. It felt more like a, you know, a traditional cigarette. Some people dig that, some don’t. I’m kinda in the middle.
Using It Throughout the Day
- Battery Life: The battery lasted me most of the day, which was surprising. I’m not a super heavy vaper, though. If you’re chain-vaping all day, you might need to charge it.
- Pod Life: The pod lasted me a couple of days. Again, depends on how much you vape.
- Convenience: This is where closed systems shine. It was so easy to just grab and go. No leaking, no refilling, just pop in a new pod when the old one’s done.
The Verdict
So, after using it for a week, I got a pretty good feel for it. It’s definitely convenient. It’s simple. It’s discreet. If you’re looking to quit smoking, or you just want something easy to use, a closed system vape is a solid option. If you’re a cloud chaser or a flavor fanatic who loves tinkering, you’ll probably find it a bit limiting, because the flavor is not bad,but it is a little bit weak.
Will I keep using it? Maybe. I might keep it around for when I’m traveling or just want something super * I am sure I will use it for a while.
