So, I’ve got this Geek Bar, right? Been using it for a while, and it’s been pretty solid. But just the other day, I noticed something weird. I took a puff, put it down, and it just kept going. It kept firing even though I wasn’t hitting it anymore. I was like, “What the heck is going on?”
At first, I thought maybe I was just imagining things. So, I tried it again. I took another hit, set it down, and sure enough, it still kept firing. It was like it had a mind of its own. This was super strange, ’cause it’s supposed to stop once you stop hittin’ it. That’s how it works, you know?

Tried Blowing It Out
I remembered reading somewhere online that sometimes blowing into it can help. So, I gave it a shot. I blew into the mouthpiece a few times, hoping it would kind of reset it or something. Honestly, it felt kinda silly, but I was willing to try anything at that point. But nope, it didn’t work. It was still going.

Checked for Gunk
Then I thought maybe some gunk got caught inside, messing with the sensor. I pulled out the pod and looked inside the device. It’s usually pretty clean, but sometimes dust or lint can get in there. I didn’t see anything obvious, but I wiped it down anyway, just in case. Put the pod back in, took a hit, and… still firing on its own.

Letting the Battery Die
At this point, I was getting a bit worried. I mean, it wasn’t super hot or anything, but I know these things use lithium batteries, and those can be dangerous if they malfunction. I definitely didn’t want it to explode or catch fire or something. So, I decided the safest thing to do was to just let the battery run out. I put it on a fire-safe surface, like a ceramic plate, and just waited.
It took a while, but eventually, it stopped. The battery was dead. I guess that’s one way to fix it, but it’s definitely not ideal. I’m still not sure what caused it to auto-fire like that. Maybe it’s just getting old, or maybe there’s something wrong with the sensor.
Either way, I’m probably just gonna toss it and get a new one. It’s not worth the risk of it malfunctioning again. It’s a bummer, ’cause I liked that Geek Bar, but safety first, right?
Just wanted to share my experience in case anyone else has had this happen. It’s definitely something to watch out for with these disposable vapes.
