Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, following your guidelines and example:
Alright, so I decided to mess around with making my own vape juice, specifically a menthol flavor. I’ve been vaping for a while, and honestly, buying pre-made juice gets expensive. Plus, I kinda wanted to see if I could do it myself, you know?

Getting Started
First thing I did was hit up the internet. Look, I’m no chemist, so I needed some guidance. I found a bunch of recipes and guides, some more complicated than others. I opted for a simpler one, ’cause, well, I’m all about keeping it easy.
I ordered the stuff I needed online. Main things were:
- PG (Propylene Glycol): This is like the base, carries the flavor.
- VG (Vegetable Glycerin): This makes the big clouds, makes it smoother.
- Nicotine: I got some unflavored nicotine liquid. Gotta be careful with this stuff!
- Menthol Flavoring: I just grabbed a small bottle of concentrated menthol.
Mixing it Up
Okay, this is where it got a little… interesting. I grabbed some empty bottles, some syringes (for measuring, gotta be precise!), and put on some gloves. Seriously, don’t get nicotine on your skin, that’s no fun.
I followed the recipe I found, which was basically like:
- 50% PG
- 40% VG
- 5% Nicotine (This was a low strength, I’m not trying to get knocked out)
- 5% Menthol Flavoring
I used the syringes to measure everything out super carefully into an empty bottle. It was a bit fiddly, not gonna lie. Then I screwed the top on tight and shook the heck out of it. Like, seriously, shook it for a good few minutes. Gotta make sure it’s all mixed up properly.
Steeping (aka Waiting)
Apparently, you gotta let this stuff “steep.” Basically, just let it sit for a while so the flavors can meld together. Some people say a few days, some say a few weeks. I waited about a week, shaking it up every now and then. Patience is not my strong suit, but hey, I wanted it to be good.
The Moment of Truth
Finally, I filled up my vape tank with my homemade concoction. I took a puff… and it was… pretty good! Seriously, I was surprised. It was definitely menthol-y, maybe a little too strong, actually. Next time I’ll probably use a bit less flavoring.
It wasn’t the smoothest vape I’ve ever had, could probably use more VG next time, but for a first attempt? I was pretty stoked. I saved a bunch of money, learned something new, and it actually tasted like something I’d vape. Win-win-win!

I still got a lot to learn, but for the moment I’m happy for my first time trying to make my own vape juice!
