Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this SMOK refillable vape for a while now, and I figured I’d share my experience with y’all. It all started when I decided I wanted a vape that I could refill myself. I was tired of buying disposable ones, and it just felt wasteful, you know?
So, I started doing some research. I looked at a bunch of different brands and models, read a ton of reviews, and watched a bunch of videos. I wanted something that was easy to use, not too expensive, and had decent battery life. I also checked the materials used in making the vape and which brand it was, and whether it comes with a tank or not. I read that the best temperature is around 325-350F degrees, so I decided to stick to that. Finally, I decided to go with a SMOK Novo pod system because they’re known for being pretty reliable.
First thing I did when I got it was to take it out of the box and give it a good look. It’s a pretty sleek-looking device, not too bulky, which is nice. It came with a couple of pods, a USB charging cable, and a user manual. Charging it up was straightforward – just plugged it into my laptop, and it was good to go in about an hour or so.
Next up was filling the pod. I chose a triple coil 0.6ohm because I heard it was good for flavor and vapor, just like SMOK recommends. This was a little tricky at first. There’s this tiny rubber plug on the side of the pod that you have to pull out, and then you use a dropper to fill it with your e-liquid. I made a bit of a mess the first time, but I got the hang of it after a couple of tries. I made sure not to overfill it, too, because that can cause leaks.
Once the pod was filled, I popped it into the device. It clicks in magnetically, which is pretty satisfying. Then, I just had to wait a few minutes for the e-liquid to soak into the coil. This is important, because if you try to vape right away, you can burn the coil, and that’s no good.

- The flavor is pretty good. I’ve tried a few different e-liquids, and they all taste as they should.
