So, I’ve been seeing these Elf Bar things all over the place lately, and my buddy, he’s really into them. Kept telling me I gotta try one, said it’s way better than smoking. I was curious, but also a little unsure about what exactly was in these things. Especially this “salt nic” thing I kept hearing about.
So I did a little digging. Turns out, yeah, Elf Bars do have nicotine in them, and it’s this nicotine salt stuff. From what I gathered, these little guys have about 2 milliliters of e-liquid, which comes out to around 20 milligrams of nicotine. Apparently, that’s the same amount you’d find in like 20 to 25 cigarettes. That’s a lot, so I figured they must pack a punch.
I started looking into the different kinds of Elf Bars. The one everyone seems to talk about is the Elf Bar 600. People were saying it’s got around 600 puffs in it. They also mentioned some other model, the Lost Mary BM600, which supposedly has the same amount of nicotine as 48 cigarettes! And I found out that some of them, like the BC5000, specifically use nicotine salts.
What’s the Big Deal with Nicotine Salts?
- Smoother Hit: A lot of folks online were saying that nicotine salts give you a smoother hit compared to regular nicotine. Something about it being less harsh on your throat.
- For Quitting Smoking: I saw some people talking about how nicotine salts are good for people trying to quit smoking. I guess since it’s smoother, it’s easier to switch over?
I also learned that the main ingredients in Elf Bars are pretty much the same as any other vape: e-liquid, a battery, and a coil. The e-liquid has nicotine, flavoring, and these things called VG and PG that make the vapor. Some people were saying that some Elf Bars had more than 2ml of e-liquid, which is not good I think.
After reading all this, I figured I had a pretty good idea of what these Elf Bars were all about. They’ve got nicotine, they use this salt nic thing that’s supposed to be smoother, and they’re basically like any other vape but in a disposable form. Now that I actually understand what is inside an Elf Bar, I might just give one a try. But I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on how much I use them, since that nicotine content is no joke!
