Okay, so I’ve been vaping for a while now, and I recently switched to the Vuse system. I like it, but I got curious about what’s actually in these pods I’m puffing on all day. So, I decided to do a little digging.
First, I grabbed one of my Vuse ePod pods. It’s a closed system, meaning you can’t open it up and refill it yourself. You just use it once and toss it. Anyway, I started looking online to see what kind of info I could find about the ingredients.

- I checked out a few different websites, and it seems like most of them say the same thing.
- The main ingredients in these Vuse pods are propylene glycol, which they call PG, and vegetable glycerin, which they call VG.
From what I gathered, these two things, PG and VG, make up the base of the e-liquid.
Then, of course, there’s water. Makes sense, right? Gotta have some water in there. After that, it gets a little more interesting. Most of these pods have nicotine. Not all of them, though. You can get some that are nicotine-free. But the ones I use definitely have nicotine.
The last ingredient is flavorings. Apparently, Vuse uses “carefully selected flavorings” that are made specifically for their ePod device. I guess that’s why they taste different from other brands. They have all kinds of flavors, like fruit, menthol, and even tobacco.
Now, I’m not a scientist or anything, so I can’t tell you exactly how all these ingredients work together or what they do to your body. But I did see something about the FDA. They haven’t said that Vuse products are completely safe, but they did some research and concluded that they’re probably a bit less risky than regular cigarettes. Take that as you will, but, you know, everything in moderation, right? So basically, that’s what I found out. It’s not rocket science, but it’s good to know what you’re putting into your body, even if it’s just vapor.
The End
Anyway, just wanted to share my little investigation with you all. Maybe it’ll make you think twice about what’s in your vape, or maybe not. Either way, happy vaping, folks!
