Okay, so I’ve been trying out these nicotine pouches lately, the 30 mg ones. Let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey.
First off, I went online to check out where I could get these things. Found this site called Prilla that seemed to have a bunch of options. They had all sorts of flavors and strengths. I’m more of a mint guy myself, so I was looking at those.

I noticed the prices were pretty decent. I mean, you can get a tin of 20 pouches for around $4.49, sometimes a bit more depending on where you live. That’s like, what, 22 to 25 cents a pop? Not too shabby. I did see that some states slap an extra tax on these, so that can bump up the price a little.
Anyway, I decided to go for the On! Mint 8mg ones first. Yeah, I know, 8mg not 30mg. Figured I’d start slow, you know? I found a good deal on Prilla where you could buy a bunch at once and save some cash. Shipping was pretty quick, too. They got here in no time.
- Popped one in: These things are small and white, and you just stick them under your upper lip.
- Waited: You start to feel a little tingle after a few minutes. It’s not like a cigarette, more of a slow burn.
- Experienced it: The mint flavor was pretty strong, which I liked. It lasted for a good 20-30 minutes, maybe even longer.
Here’s what I did:
After trying the 8mg ones for a while, I felt like I was ready for something stronger. I was looking at the ZYN brand. It appears that they are really popular. They had a Cool Mint flavor that I thought might be good. But the strongest ones they had were only 6mg, so I didn’t buy them. 30 mg is a big jump, and to be honest, I wasn’t quite there yet. I tried a few other brands with different flavors, like Black Cherry, but they were also not strong enough. I was still at the experimenting stage. You know, just seeing what’s out there.
So, that’s where I’m at now. Still exploring the world of nicotine pouches. It’s been interesting, to say the least. I’m thinking I’ll eventually work my way up to the 30 mg ones, but for now, I’m taking it slow and steady. There’s a lot of different brands and flavors to try, so it’s kind of fun experimenting and seeing what I like best. It is really a long journey.
