First things first, you gotta turn the darn thing on, right? Now, I ain’t no expert, but I reckon you gotta push that big ol’ button, the one that feels like it wants to be pushed. Yep, that’s the one. Push it five times, they say. Five times! Like countin’ chickens, only you’re countin’ button pushes. And if that don’t work, well, then you done bought a lemon, I tell ya.
Okay, so it’s on. Now what? Well, this here L200, it’s got all sorts of settings. Sounds fancy, doesn’t it? Settings. Like settin’ the table, only you’re settin’ your vape. And let me tell you, there’s more settings on this thing than there are beans in a pot of chili.
- Wattage, that’s one thing. That’s how much… well, how much oomph you get. You want a little puff, or a big ol’ cloud? That’s what the wattage is for. You play around with them buttons, the little plus and minus ones, and you’ll see the numbers go up and down. Higher the number, the more oomph, see? But don’t go burnin’ your throat out now, ya hear? Start low, and work your way up. That’s what I always say about everything, start low.
- Then there’s this TC, or Temperature Control. Now, this is where it gets tricky, like tryin’ to catch a greased pig. This TC stuff, it’s supposed to keep things from gettin’ too hot. You know, like when you leave the kettle on the stove too long? Same idea. But honestly, I just leave it alone mostly. Too much fuss for this old gal.
- And somethin’ about VPC mode, they call it. Now, I don’t rightly know what that means, but some folks say it lets you set different wattages for different puffs. Like, a little puff here, a big puff there. Sounds like more trouble than it’s worth, if you ask me. But you young folks, you like your gadgets, so you can fiddle with that if you want. They say you gotta press some buttons at the same time. Like holdin’ down the “+” and the “-” together. Sounds like a recipe for confusion if you ask me, but you go ahead and try it. They say you can set P1 to P5. Sounds complicated.
Now, they tell me you can lock this here thing too. Lock it! Like lockin’ the barn door after the horses are gone. But I guess it makes sense if you don’t want it firin’ off in your pocket or somethin’. To lock it, you push that fire button again, five times, just like when you turned it on. Same thing to unlock it. See? Simple as pie, once you get the hang of it. Or so they say. Or you can press the “+”&”_� buttons, whatever those are, at the same time, but not for too long, only 2 seconds they say, to lock just those buttons. And then if those buttons are locked, you go and press that fire button 3 times, and then the whole darn thing is locked. Sounds like a lot of work to me, but you do what you want. They say you gotta read the manual, but I say fiddlin’ with it is the best way to learn. But if you really wanna get fancy, you can download that manual. They got it on that inter-web thingy. Just search for “Geekvape L200 user manual” and you should find it. But good luck makin’ sense of it all. Them manuals are written in some kinda fancy talk I don’t understand.
And another thing, if this here vape ain’t hittin’ when you push the button, first thing you gotta do is make sure it ain’t locked. Like I said before, five pushes of that fire button. If it’s still not workin’, well then maybe it’s empty, or the coil is burnt out, or somethin’. You gotta check all them things. Vapin’ ain’t as easy as lightin’ up a cigarette, that’s for sure. But folks say it’s better for you. Who knows these days.
But the most important thing, and I mean the most important thing, is to keep this thing away from the young’uns. You hear me? This ain’t no toy, and it ain’t for kids. Keep it up high, where they can’t reach it, just like you do with the good liquor and the cookies. Safety first, that’s what I always say.
