Okay, so I just got this new Smok Solus 2, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster.
At first, everything was smooth. I filled up the pod, let it sit for a bit, and started vaping. Great flavor, good vapor production, no complaints there.
But then, things started to get a little weird.
I noticed some leaking. Not a lot, but enough to be annoying. I’d find a little bit of juice around the pod, and sometimes it would even get into the device itself.
I tried a few things. I made sure I wasn’t overfilling the pod, and I tried to fill it slowly to let the air escape. I would find some leaking pod and checked for a leak, the pod is not empty. I even tried different pods, thinking maybe I just got a bad batch. No luck.
Then, the device started acting up. It would blink, like it was trying to fire, but nothing would happen. I was like, “What the heck is going on?”
I searched online, and I found a bunch of people with the same problem. Some folks were saying it was a problem with the sensor. So I found a fix way from the internet. It said I should hold the holes with my finger and suck without a pod really hard till see the juice come up. Then wipe, repeat it.
- First, I tried cleaning the contacts on the device and the pod with a cotton swab.
- Then I did as the fix way said. I hold the holes and suck hardly without a pod, then wiped, and repeat it several times.
- After that, I give it a go with more air flow til it starts hitting again.
Guess what? It worked! After a few tries, the device started hitting again. Seems to work for me so far!
So, if you’re having trouble with your Smok Solus 2, don’t give up hope. It might just need a little bit of cleaning or a little love, haha.
But if that doesn’t work, you might need to contact Smok or the place you bought it from. They might be able to help you out.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience in case anyone else is going through the same thing. It’s a pretty decent device when it’s working, but it can be a little finicky sometimes.
