Okay, so the other day, I really wanted to find some good e-liquid. I started by opening up Naver Map on my phone. You know, since I’m in Korea, that’s the map app everyone uses.
I typed in “전자담배” which just means “e-cigarettes” in Korean. Boom! The map showed me a bunch of vape shops around my area. It was super easy.

I noticed that most of the places to buy this stuff in Korea are these small, private retail shops. Not like back home where you might find them in big stores. It’s mostly specialty shops here. The map showed me a few that were close by, so I decided to check them out.
I walked into the first shop, and it was pretty small but packed with all kinds of e-liquids. The guy behind the counter, he seemed like he really knew his stuff. We started chatting about what I was looking for, and he gave me some recommendations based on what flavors I liked.
After trying a few samples – they let you do that, which is awesome – I settled on a couple of bottles that I thought were pretty good. I also grabbed a couple of extra batteries because I didn’t want to run out of power. A little knowledge is that you can carry it with you on the plane.
Here’s a list of what I did, just to keep it simple:
- Opened Naver Map.
- Searched for “전자담배”.
- Checked out the closest shops.
- Talked to the staff for recommendations.
- Tested some e-liquid samples.
- Bought some e-liquids and extra batteries.
I spent the whole afternoon hopping from one vape shop to another. Each place had its own vibe, you know? Some were more modern and fancy, others were more like a chill hangout spot. It was cool to see the variety.
The Best Shops
For me, there were two shops that stood out the most. One was called “Juicefly Vape Shop” – yeah, funny name, I know. But the staff there were super knowledgeable. They helped me a lot with product selection, usage tips, maintenance, and even safety.
The other one was “Great Vapes” in Columbus. This city seems to have a lot of good vape stores. I checked out a few like “Central Ohio Vape”, “Top Notch Vapor”, and “Midwest Vapors”, but “Great Vapes” was my favorite. They had a huge selection and the vibe was just right.
At the end of the day, I found what I needed and learned a lot about the local vape scene. It was a fun adventure, and I’m pretty happy with the e-liquids I ended up buying.
