Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this rechargeable Elf Bar thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a ride. I’m not the most tech-savvy guy, but I figured, how hard could it be, right? Well, turns out, there’s a bit more to it than I thought, but it’s not rocket science either.
First off, I had to figure out which Elf Bar I actually had. I learned they come in different types, who knew? Mine is one of those FB1000 models. It looks kinda neat, not too flashy, which I like.

So, charging this thing. You’d think it’s as simple as plugging in your phone, and it mostly is. I found the charging hole on the bottom—it’s one of those USB-C type deals. Got a cable for that, no problem, they’re everywhere these days. I hooked it up to a USB thing I have plugged into the wall, the same one I use for my phone. Easy.
Now, here’s where it gets interesting. You know how with some gadgets, you have no clue if they’re charging or not? Well, this one’s kinda like that. There’s a little light that’s supposed to tell you what’s going on, but honestly, it’s not very helpful. I just plugged it in and hoped for the best.
- Find the USB-C port on the bottom.
- Plug in the USB-C cable.
- Connect the cable to a power source.
I left it charging for a few hours. I read somewhere that these things can give you like 500 to 600 puffs per charge, which sounds like a lot. But then again, it depends on how much you use it and how long you drag.
After it was fully charged, I tried it out. It works, I guess. I mean, it’s supposed to be better for you than the usual stuff because it doesn’t have nicotine or some of those other bad chemicals. But who knows, they haven’t really studied these things enough to say for sure.
My Final Thoughts
In the end, it’s a decent little gadget. Does what it’s supposed to, and it’s pretty straightforward to charge. Would I recommend it? Yeah, probably. It’s easy enough to use, and if you’re into vaping, it’s a rechargeable option. Just don’t expect any fireworks, it’s pretty basic, but that’s not always a bad thing. You know, it is what it is. And I am still using it.
