Okay, today I want to share my experience with the Voopoo Drag 4 coils. I’ve been using this device for a while now, and I gotta say, I’m pretty impressed with the overall performance. So, let me take you through my journey with this bad boy.
First off, I got my hands on the resin version, the Gun Metal+Tropical Orange one. The design is slick, and it feels really good in hand. But we’re here to talk about the coils, right?

Now, when I first started, I was using the older PnP coils, and don’t get me wrong, they were alright. But then I heard about these new PnP coils for the Drag 4, and people were saying they’re much better. So, I decided to give them a shot.
Switching to the New PnP Coils
- Unboxing and First Impressions
- Installing the Coil
- First Vape
I ordered a pack of these new coils, and when they arrived, I immediately noticed the difference. These new ones look like they’re put together way better than the old ones. Just by looking at them, you can tell they’re going to perform better.
Popping the new coil into the tank was a breeze. It fit perfectly, no issues whatsoever. I primed the coil with some e-liquid, filled up the tank, and let it sit for a few minutes to make sure everything was saturated.
Took my first puff, and wow, what a difference! The flavor was much more intense, and the vapor production was just insane. It was like a whole new vaping experience.
Exploring Different PnP Coils
After that, I got curious and wanted to see what other coils were available. I found out about the TPP-DM coils, and decided to give them a try too.
- TPP-DM1 Coils
- TPP-DM2 Coils
- PnP-TM2 Mesh Coil
I picked up a pack of TPP-DM1 coils, which are supposed to be great for a smooth draw and dense clouds. Installed one, and yeah, they were pretty good. The draw was smooth, and the clouds were thick. It was a solid vaping experience, definitely enjoyable.
Then I tried the TPP-DM2 coils, which are supposed to give a cooler and more flavorful vape. These were also quite impressive. The vape was definitely cooler, and the flavor was a bit more pronounced. I liked these for a more relaxed vaping session.
Last but not least, I tested the PnP-TM2 mesh coil. I’d heard these were great for flavor. They do provide really good flavor, but the vapor production is not as good as the others, which is what I expected given its 0.8 ohm range and 12 to 18W range. But if you’re all about that flavor, these are worth a try. And some people are saying the 0.6 ohm PnP coil is best for flavor with high PG liquids.

So, after trying out all these different coils, I’m really happy with the Drag 4. The new PnP coils are a game changer, and the variety of coils available means you can really customize your vaping experience to suit your preferences. Whether you want massive clouds, intense flavor, or a smooth draw, there’s a coil for you. The Drag 4 and its coils have definitely made my vaping journey a lot more enjoyable.
