Okay, so today, I wanna talk about the SMOK T-Air Subtank. I’ve been messing around with it for a while now, and I’ve got some thoughts to share.
First off, getting this thing set up was pretty straightforward. It came in a neat little package, nothing fancy. I took it out, gave it a once-over, and it looked solid. No loose parts or anything like that. I unscrewed the top cap – it’s just a quarter turn, which is kinda nice. Less hassle, you know? Then, I filled it up with some juice. I’ve been using this light-colored e-liquid, ’cause I heard it’s easier on the coils.

Filling and Airflow Adjustments
Now, here’s a trick I learned about coils. I soaked them in some alcohol overnight – everclear, to be exact. Just let them sit there, gave the cup a little swirl now and then, and then let them dry out completely. Seems to clean them up pretty good and keeps them going longer.
Once the tank was filled, I played around with the airflow. There’s this ring at the top, right below the drip tip. It’s got a honeycomb design, which looks kinda cool, I guess. Anyway, you just twist this ring to adjust the airflow. Turning it one way opens it up, the other way closes it down. I like a good amount of airflow, so I opened it up pretty wide. It’s a top airflow system, so it’s supposed to prevent leaks, which is a plus.
Using the Tank
I screwed the tank onto my mod. It fits a 21700 or 18650 battery, and I’m using a 21700 for longer battery life. It can go up to 100W, but I usually keep it lower, around 60-70W. Just my preference. The tank holds about 5ml of e-liquid, which is a decent amount. I don’t have to refill it all the time. It uses these plug n’ play coils. Changing them out is a breeze. I simply pulled the old coil out from the bottom of the tank. You don’t even have to empty the tank. Then I pushed a new one. That’s it.
Overall Experience
So, I’ve been vaping on this thing for a couple of weeks now. The flavor is good, pretty intense, actually. And it makes some serious clouds, if you’re into that. The 810 drip tip is comfortable. It’s not too wide, not too narrow. I haven’t had any issues with leaking, which is a big deal for me.
All in all, I’m pretty happy with the SMOK T-Air Subtank. It’s easy to use, works well, and it’s not too expensive. If you’re looking for a new tank, I’d say give this one a shot. It’s a solid choice, especially if you like good flavor and big clouds.
