I’ve been vaping for a while now, and I always like to try new things. Recently I got my hands on the Aspire Pockex vape. I heard a lot of good things about it, like it’s easy to use, and it’s been around forever, still a top seller. So I decided to give it a shot.
First off, I checked what I needed. I wanted something simple, not too expensive, and a battery that wouldn’t die on me after a few puffs. I also read that it should be from a good brand and made of decent materials, and ideally, it would come with a tank. The Aspire Pockex seemed to check all these boxes. The size was also important, as I wanted something that fits comfortably in my pocket. This one’s just right, not too bulky.

When I got the Aspire Pockex, it came with a tank and two coils, a 0.7ohm coil already in and an extra 1.8ohm one. I remembered reading somewhere that for the 0.7ohm coil, you should set the wattage between 18-23W, and for the 1.8ohm, it’s around 10-14W. I made a note of that. It’s supposed to be good for beginners and even for people who’ve been vaping for a long time because it’s just so simple and works well.
I started with the pre-installed 0.7ohm coil. Filled up the tank, and set the wattage to around 20W. Then I took my first puff. It worked great. Smooth draw, good flavor, and decent clouds. I was pretty happy with it. It’s really straightforward to use, which is a big plus for me. I don’t like messing around with too many settings.
Later, I tried the 1.8ohm coil. Changed the wattage to about 12W. This one gives a tighter draw, more like smoking a cigarette. The flavor was still good, just a different experience. I also heard that if you want bigger clouds, you should use the 0.6 Ohm coil with a high VG e-liquid, like 60% VG or more. I haven’t tried that yet, but it’s on my list.
- Ease of use: Super simple, just fill and go.
- Price: Didn’t break the bank.
- Battery: Lasts a good while, no complaints there.
- Materials: Feels solid, not cheap.
- Coils: Comes with two, easy to swap.
- Size: Fits in my pocket just fine.
Overall, I’m really liking the Aspire Pockex. It’s a solid, reliable vape that does what it’s supposed to do without any fuss. It’s a classic for a reason, I guess. I can see why it’s been popular for so long. If you’re looking for a simple, no-nonsense vape, I’d definitely recommend checking it out. You don’t have to be an expert to enjoy it, and it just works.
