So, the other day, I got my hands on the Freemax Maxus 2 Kit. It was pretty sweet, I gotta say. Inside the box, I found the M Pro 3 tank. I’m not new to this, so I also grabbed a box of the m2 m2 mesh coils. I’ve been using a Valyrian 3 tank with a dual mesh coil for a while now, but I figured it was time to switch things up a bit.
First thing I did was open up the Freemax website. They’ve got this whole Double Triple Quad Quintuple Mesh Coil Technology thing going on, and I wanted to see what the fuss was about. From what I gathered, they’ve got this mix of 90% Flax Cotton Fiber and 10% Cotton Fiber in their M Pro coils. And for the M Pro 2, they’re using something called Coiltech 4.0, which has military grade SS904L mesh and a Tea Fiber Cotton formula. Sounds fancy, right?

Experiment with Different Coils
I’ve heard from some folks online that the doubles and triples are better than the singles. I was leaning towards the triples myself. So, I went ahead and ordered some from a shop called Royalty Vape. They arrived a few days later, and I was excited to try them out.
- Unscrewed the old coil from the base of my M Pro 3 tank. It was pretty easy, just a few twists.
- Took a new triple mesh coil out of the box. I noticed the coil was wrapped nicely, and it felt solid in my hand.
- Screwed the new coil onto the base. I made sure it was tight but not too tight.
- Filled the tank with my favorite e-juice. I let it sit for a few minutes to make sure the cotton was soaked properly.
Adjusting Wattage
I read somewhere on Freemax’s website that they have some recommendations for the best wattage for their M Pro series tanks. I looked it up and decided to start at a wattage that was in the middle of the recommended range for the triple coil.
- Turned on my mod and set the wattage. I started at a moderate setting, just to be safe.
- Took a few puffs to test it out. The vapor production was impressive, and the flavor was intense.
- Gradually increased the wattage to find my sweet spot. I ended up settling on a wattage that gave me the best balance of flavor and cloud production.
I also tried cleaning the coils. I used a bit of dishwashing liquid and brushed them gently, then rinsed them thoroughly with hot water. It worked pretty well, but after a while, I noticed the flavor wasn’t as good as before. That’s when I knew it was time to switch to a new coil.
One thing I found interesting is that the Freemax SS904L M Series Mesh Coils and M Pro Series Coils are compatible with both the M Pro and M Pro 2 tanks. That’s pretty convenient if you have both tanks.
After using these coils for a few weeks, I have to say I’m impressed. The flavor is great, the cloud production is awesome, and they seem to last a decent amount of time. I think I’ve found my new favorite coils!
