Okay, so, I’ve been seeing these Elf Bar things all over the place lately. You know, those colorful little disposable vapes? I finally caved and bought one the other day, figured I’d give it a shot. It’s called an Elf Bar EB1200. Honestly, I had no clue how to use it at first, it looked simple but still.
First thing I did was ripped open the packaging. Inside, there was the actual Elf Bar device and two little cartridges. They called them “pods,” and they were filled with some kind of flavored liquid. They’re like, 2ml each, so it’s not a whole lot.

I took the device out and looked for some kind of button to turn it on. There wasn’t any! It was a bit confusing, I’m used to other gadgets where you gotta press something to power it up, right?
Then I unwrapped the two pods. They had these little rubber stoppers on them, which I pulled out. Next, I figured out that you had to put one of the pods into the top of the Elf Bar. It just clicked right in, pretty easy.
Now, the moment of truth. I put the mouthpiece to my lips and inhaled. And guess what? It worked! A puff of vapor came out. It felt kind of like smoking a cigarette, but smoother, you know? The flavor was actually pretty good, too.
What I learned
- No buttons needed: You literally just inhale to activate the Elf Bar. Super simple, even for a newbie like me.
- Pre-filled and charged: These things come ready to go. No need to fill them with liquid or charge them up before using.
- Disposable: Once the liquid runs out or the battery dies, you just throw the whole thing away. Kinda wasteful, I guess, but convenient.
- Different flavors: I’ve only tried one flavor so far, but there are tons of them out there. I might try a few different ones to see what I like best.
So yeah, that’s my first experience with an Elf Bar. It was surprisingly easy to use, and I actually enjoyed it. I might keep using these for a while, we’ll see. It’s definitely a lot simpler than those complicated vape mods some people use.
