Hey everyone, it’s been a while since I last posted. Today, I want to share my latest DIY adventure – it’s all about getting that crystal clear pinky look on my nails. I’ve been seeing this trend everywhere, and I finally decided to give it a try. It’s like, your nails but better, you know?
So, first, I started looking for some inspiration online. I saw a lot of pictures of these beautiful, sheer pink nails with a super glossy finish. I read somewhere that these are usually acrylic extensions. I mean, I’m not really into extensions, but the look was so tempting.
Next, I gathered all my nail stuff. I already had a few sheer pink polishes, but I wanted that xtremely glossy, long-lasting shine. I found this description of a top shine gel, saying it’s “superbly flexible, clear” and has a “100% non-yellowing feature.” Sounded perfect, so I decided to order it online. I also had some silver stars and swirls stickers on hand, and those felt like a good way to dress up the look a bit.
Once I got the top coat, I started doing my nails. First I prepped my nails like I usually do – filing, buffing, and pushing back my cuticles. Then, I applied a thin layer of my favorite sheer pink polish. I let it dry completely – gotta be patient with this part.
After that, I carefully placed some of the silver stars and swirls on a couple of nails. This was kinda tricky, to be honest. It took some time to get them exactly where I wanted them. I decided to just accent a few nails and leave some plain. It’s all about that balance, right?
Finally, I applied the clear top coat. The description said I could “apply it generously”, so I did. I was careful, but I made sure to get a nice, even layer on each nail. This stuff was supposed to give it that extra shine, so I was pretty excited.
And guess what? It turned out amazing! My nails looked so delicate and sophisticated, just like the pictures I saw. It’s like a hint of color with a modern twist. I’m really happy with how it turned out. I think I’ve found my new go-to nail look!
So, yeah, that’s my little nail adventure. It was a bit of work, but definitely worth it. I’m already thinking about what other designs I can try with this clear pink look. Maybe some swirls next time, or some different nail art. The possibilities are endless!
