So, the other day I got it into my head to try out one of those 2 percent nicotine disposable vapes. I’ve seen them around, and well, curiosity got the best of me. I’ve heard people say it’s a lot and others say it’s pretty standard, especially for those trying to kick the regular cigarette habit. I went ahead and grabbed one, can’t recall the brand, something like Logic Disposables or JINX, I guess. Anyway, they all look pretty similar.
First off, these things are made to be super easy to use. It’s a single-use kind of deal—comes pre-filled with the e-liquid and the battery’s already charged. The idea is you use it until it’s either out of juice or the battery dies, and then you just toss it.

I took my first puff, and I’ve gotta say, it was pretty intense. I mean, I’ve dabbled in smoking before, but this felt different. Maybe it’s because they say these 2 percent ones are sort of meant for heavier smokers. It did give me a bit of a head rush, not gonna lie.
Using it was a breeze, though. No buttons to press or anything, you just inhale, and it works. It felt convenient, especially since I didn’t have to worry about charging it or filling it up. Plus, there was a decent amount of vapor, which, I guess, is part of the appeal.
But here’s the thing, after using it for a bit, I started thinking about what a doctor mentioned in an article I read. He said something about these e-cigarettes being potentially dangerous and that there might be links to lung issues and heart problems. That kind of put a damper on the whole experience.
I kept using it throughout the day, mostly out of habit, I think. Each puff was consistent, which was good, but that initial buzz wore off pretty quick. I started wondering if it was worth it, especially with those health warnings in the back of my mind.
- Convenience: Super easy to use, no setup required.
- Nicotine Hit: Definitely felt the 2 percent nicotine. Stronger than I expected.
- Health Concerns: Started worrying about the potential health risks.
Final Thoughts
By the end of the day, the disposable was done. I threw it away and kind of felt relieved. It was an interesting experiment, but I’m not sure it’s something I’d do again. The convenience is a big plus, but those health concerns are hard to ignore. I guess it all comes down to what you’re looking for and what risks you’re willing to take. For me, I think I’ll stick to other things. Maybe just staying away from nicotine altogether is the best bet. It’s something to think about, anyway. These things do pack a punch with their 2 percent, and while that might be okay for some, it made me a bit uneasy.
I still think it is a good try if you want to kick off the regular cigarettes. But I don’t think I will use it again.
