Okay, so, let’s talk about this Geek Bar Pulse vape thing. I’ve been messing around with it for a while now, and I gotta say, it’s a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to how long it lasts. First off, I grabbed one of these bad boys a few weeks back, thinking it’d be cool to see what the hype was about.
First Impressions

When I first got it, I was pretty stoked. The thing felt solid, and I dug the whole “Pulse” mode concept. The battery’s a 650mAh, which isn’t huge, but it seemed decent enough. I charged it up and started puffing away. Initially, I was getting like, maybe 4 to 6 hours of continuous use, which, to be honest, wasn’t too shabby. I used it a few times at first.
Regular Use
Now, here’s where it gets tricky. They say this thing can last for 15,000 puffs in regular mode. Sounds great, right? But it really depends on how you use it. I started using it more regularly, you know, throughout the day. And that’s when I noticed the battery life wasn’t as impressive. I mean, it wasn’t dying on me super fast, but it definitely wasn’t lasting as long as I thought it would.
- Pulse Mode vs. Regular Mode
This Geek Bar Pulse has this button where you can switch between “Pulse” mode and “Regular” mode. The Pulse mode supposedly gives you a stronger hit, but it eats up the battery faster. They say it lasts for 7,500 puffs in Pulse mode. I tried both, and yeah, the Pulse mode definitely hits harder, but man, it drains the battery like crazy. I was getting way fewer puffs than advertised.
Real-World Testing
So, I did a little test. I kept track of how many puffs I was taking and how often I had to charge it. In regular mode, I was probably getting closer to a week of use, but definitely not 15,000 puffs. Maybe like, a few thousand? It’s hard to say exactly. And in Pulse mode, forget about it. I was charging it like, every other day. I charged it more frequently.
Signs It’s Running Low
Another thing I noticed is that you can tell when it’s about to die. The flavor starts to get weak, and you get less vapor. Sometimes, it’ll flash a light at the bottom, which means the battery’s dead. Other times, it’ll still fire, but it tastes burnt, which means the liquid’s run out. It’s pretty obvious when it’s time for a new one.

Pulse X
Oh, and there’s this new version called the Geek Bar Pulse X. Supposedly, it lasts even longer, like 25,000 puffs in regular mode and 15,000 in Pulse mode. I haven’t tried that one yet, but I’m curious. I wanted to try the new version.
Overall Thoughts
So, how long does the Geek Bar Pulse last? It’s kind of a mixed bag. It depends on how much you use it and which mode you’re using. If you’re a heavy vaper, don’t expect it to last forever. But if you’re just using it occasionally, it might last you a while. For me, it was kind of in between. Not amazing, but not terrible either.
Anyway, that’s my experience with the Geek Bar Pulse. Hope it helps someone out there. If you’ve tried it, let me know what you think. I’m always down to hear other people’s experiences. The results might be very different, and I wanted to keep testing it.
