Okay, so I tried Zyn for the first time the other day, and let me tell you, it was an experience. I’ve seen these little pouches around, and people talking about them, and I got curious. So, I grabbed a pack, read up a bit online, and decided to give it a shot.
First off, I took one of those pouches out of the tin. It’s this small, white thing, kind of like a tiny pillow. I followed what I read and tucked it between my upper lip and gum. It felt weird at first, not gonna lie. I just let it sit there, and after a few minutes, I started feeling this tingling sensation. That’s when I knew it was working.

The instructions I found online said to keep it in for up to an hour, but they also mentioned that for first-timers, maybe less is more. So, I set a timer on my phone for 20 minutes, just to play it safe. As time went on, I felt this wave of calmness come over me. It was pretty chill, I have to admit.
- Took out a pouch
- Placed it between upper lip and gum
- Waited for the tingling
- Set a timer for 20 minutes
I kept myself busy while waiting – scrolled through some videos, did a bit of cleaning around the house. Before I knew it, the 20 minutes were up. I took the pouch out, and the sensation started to fade away. I read somewhere that you could keep it in for up to 40 minutes too, so maybe I’ll try that next time.
Afterward, I did feel a bit lightheaded, but nothing too crazy. My mouth felt a little dry, so I made sure to drink some water. From what I understand, that’s pretty normal. I also noticed my gums felt a bit sensitive, which is apparently something that can happen if you use these things a lot.
All in all, it was an interesting first try. I can see why people use these – it’s a discreet way to get that nicotine kick without having to smoke or vape. I’m not sure how often I’ll be using them, but it’s good to know what the experience is like.
I will update it next time when I have a new try!
