Okay, so I’ve been trying to track down these Crown cigarettes, right? They’re not exactly the easiest to find around here. I heard they were released way back in ’96 and are super popular in Korea, which got me curious. Plus, someone told me they get better with age, like a fine wine or something. Smooth, spicy, good for a morning smoke – that’s what I heard, and I wanted to see for myself.
First off, I started with the usual spots, you know, the local convenience stores and gas stations. No dice.

Struck out there. So I thought, okay, let’s go bigger. I hit up a couple of the larger supermarkets in the area. I even checked out one of those big-box stores, you know, the ones that sell everything from tires to toothpaste. I figured if anyone would have some obscure brand of cigarettes, it would be them. Still nothing.
Trying a Different Approach
So, feeling a bit defeated, I decided to get a little more creative. I remembered hearing something about this app, Instacart. I downloaded the thing and typed in “Crown cigarettes.” Lo and behold, it popped up! Apparently, they can deliver them to your door in like an hour. They even had some deal where your first delivery is free. How sweet is that?
But here’s the thing, I’m a bit old-fashioned, I guess. I wanted to see them, hold the pack in my hand before buying. Call me crazy. So I passed on the Instacart option for now. Besides, I’m not exactly sure how much cigarettes are in other countries. I did read somewhere that Australia is super expensive for smokers, but that doesn’t help me much here.
The Search Continues
I then spent a good chunk of the afternoon driving around, checking out some smaller, independent tobacco shops. You know, the kind of places that have that old-timey feel, with the wooden shelves and the smell of pipe tobacco in the air. I figured these guys might have some hidden gems.
- Stopped by a place called “Smoker’s Den.” Nice folks, but no Crowns.
- Tried another shop, “Tobacco Emporium” or something like that. The guy behind the counter had never even heard of them.
- Even went to a couple of those discount cigarette outlets. You know, the ones with the flashing neon signs? Nada.
So, yeah, it’s been quite the adventure. I’m starting to think these Crown cigarettes are like some mythical creature. Everyone’s heard of them, but nobody’s actually seen them. I did notice some online stores that sell them, but I’m still holding out hope I can find them locally. I feel like there must be some place that stocks it! I just have to find out that place.
I will keep looking, and I will eventually find it. I hope this journey of mine can help some of you who might also be looking for something hard to find.
