Okay, so, a while back, I stumbled upon this thing called the Geek Bar Pulse. I’d heard some chatter about it, and being the curious cat that I am, I decided to give it a whirl. I mean, who doesn’t like trying out new stuff, right?
The first thing I noticed was this little switch at the bottom. It had two settings: “Regular” and “Pulse.” Now, “Regular” was pretty self-explanatory, but “Pulse”? That got my gears turning.

First, I tried to use it in the “Regular” mode. I did get something to use, but I didn’t think it was a big deal.
So, I started digging around, reading articles, watching videos, basically anything I could get my hands on to figure out what this “Pulse” mode was all about.
- Experimenting with Pulse Mode
After a bit of research, I felt like I had a decent grasp of what it was supposed to do. It basically sends out these quick bursts of power to the coil inside, rather than just a steady stream. I guess it’s like, instead of keeping your foot on the gas pedal, you’re tapping it on and off really fast.
Armed with this newfound knowledge, I decided to put it to the test. I switched it to “Pulse” mode and took a puff. Holy moly, what a difference! The flavor was way more intense, and the vapor was noticeably denser. It was like going from a regular TV to 4K, no joke.
When I switched it to pulse mode, I saw a rocket symbol appear, I think it means pulse mode is on. It’s a cool little design.
Here’s what I found out about this “Pulse” mode:
- More Intense Flavor: The quick bursts of power seem to heat up the e-liquid more effectively, which brings out more of the flavor.
- Denser Vapor: That rapid heating also creates a thicker, more satisfying vapor.
- Consistent Hits: I noticed that each puff was pretty much the same in terms of flavor and vapor production. No more weak hits!
And here’s a little bonus I discovered: there’s an LED light on the device. And you know what I found out? This little light changes color depending on how much battery is left. I noticed that when it turned red, it meant the battery was low, pretty cool, huh? It’s like a little fuel gauge for your vape!
But here’s the catch: all that extra oomph comes at a price. It turns out that “Pulse” mode uses up more battery and e-liquid than “Regular” mode. The Geek Bar Pulse is supposed to last for around 15,000 puffs, but in “Pulse” mode, that number drops to about 7,500. Still a lot, but definitely something to keep in mind.
So, there you have it. That’s my little adventure with the Geek Bar Pulse and its mysterious “Pulse” mode. It’s definitely a cool feature that takes the vaping experience up a notch, but just remember that it’s a bit more power-hungry. If you’re all about intense flavor and thick clouds, then “Pulse” mode is your jam. But if you’re trying to make your device last as long as possible, maybe stick with “Regular” mode.

Anyway, hope this little story was helpful! Go and try it yourself!
