Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this Geek Bar Pulse thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I wanted to figure out how this thing works, you know, get into the nitty-gritty of it. So, I got myself one and started poking around.
First Impressions
First off, this thing’s got a screen. Yeah, a screen on a disposable vape. It shows you the battery level and how much juice is left. Pretty neat, I guess, but not really a game-changer for me. I started by taking a few puffs. Nothing fancy, just your normal vaping. It worked like any other vape, it heated something up, and I saw the vapor coming out.

Digging Deeper into Pulse Mode
Now, the real deal with this thing is the “Pulse Mode.” There’s a little switch at the bottom. I flicked it to “Pulse” and took another puff. You see the changes on the screen immediately, and I felt the device was getting hotter. It’s supposed to give you a stronger hit or something, and I guess it did feel a bit different, a bit more intense.
I had to know what was going on inside. From what I’ve found, regular vapes use one coil to heat up the liquid. This Geek Bar Pulse, though, it’s got two. In normal mode, it uses one at a time, switching between them with each puff. In Pulse Mode, it fires up both coils at once.
I noticed a little LED light when I was using it. It’s not just for show, from what I learned, it also tells you about the battery level. And it also indicates if the device is working and the pod is inserted correctly.
- Regular Mode: One coil at a time. More puffs per charge.
- Pulse Mode: Both coils at once. Stronger hit, fewer puffs.
- Starting the Process: Just by inhaling through the mouthpiece.
- Display: Battery and e-liquid levels.
- LED Light: Also a battery indicator.
Figuring Out Pulse Mode
So, this Pulse Mode, it’s not just about using both coils. Apparently, it sends out these little bursts of power every 0.2 seconds while you’re puffing. I guess that’s what makes the hit feel different. I mean, it’s not like I could see it happening, but that’s what the internet says. I did feel a slightly stronger hit, though. And the vapor felt smoother.
Final Thoughts
Honestly, it’s a bit of a gimmick, but I get the appeal. I vaped a little longer in the Pulse mode and saw the battery level dropping a little faster. I guess it does make the vaping experience a bit more intense, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the trade-off in battery life. If you’re into chasing clouds or whatever, maybe you’ll love it. For me, it’s a cool little feature, but I probably won’t be using it all the time. I think it’s just a way to consume the e-liquid faster, and people may want to buy it more often. But who knows? I might change my mind later. The more puffs, the more you pay, right?
So, that’s my experience with the Geek Bar Pulse. It’s an interesting device, for sure. Is it revolutionary? Nah. But it’s a fun little gadget to play around with. I do appreciate its large puff count and some unique features, though.
Hope this helps someone out there!
