So, the other day, I was chilling, you know, trying to enjoy my Raz vape, and it just stopped working. Out of the blue, it just wouldn’t hit. I was like, “What the heck?” I’m no expert, but I figured I’d try to fix it myself before rushing to buy a new one.
First things first, I checked the battery. I mean, that’s the most obvious thing, right? My Raz vape has this light that usually comes on when it’s charging. So, I plugged it in, and guess what? No light. Dead as a doornail. I left it plugged in for a while, hoping it was just super drained or something.

- Waited for like an hour, came back, and still nothing. Nada.
Next, I thought, maybe the charging port is dirty. I’ve had that issue with my phone before. So, I grabbed a tiny brush – one of those you use for cleaning electronics – and gently cleaned out the port. There was some gunk in there, not gonna lie. I also checked the little metal contacts inside, made sure they weren’t bent or anything.
Tried charging it again
Still no luck. At this point, I started thinking the battery might just be old. I mean, I’ve had this vape for quite a while. Batteries don’t last forever, you know? They lose their oomph over time.
Then I remembered reading somewhere that sometimes the pod can be the issue. So, I took the pod out, inspected it. Didn’t see any leaks, but it was pretty much empty. I filled it up with some fresh juice, hoping that would do the trick.
Put the pod back in, tried to take a hit, and… nothing. I was so bummed. I really didn’t want to have to buy a new one, but it seemed like my Raz vape had given up the ghost.
I guess sometimes these things just happen. Vapes aren’t invincible, even the good ones like Raz. Maybe it was just its time. I’ll probably try a few more things, but I’m not holding my breath. It might be time to say goodbye to my trusty Raz and start looking for a replacement. Bummer.
