Okay, so, I’ve been trying to figure out how long these vape coils actually last. You know, like, how many puffs can you get before the thing starts tasting burnt and nasty? I did a little experiment to see for myself.
First, I grabbed a brand-new coil and screwed it into my vape. Filled up the tank with some juice, my favorite, a really sweet kind. I made sure to let it sit for a while, like 10 minutes, so the coil could soak up the juice real good. You don’t wanna dry hit it right away, you feel me?

Then, I started puffing. I kept count of each puff, tried to keep them about the same length, you know, just normal puffs, nothing crazy. I vaped like I normally do throughout the day – a few puffs here, a few puffs there. It was kinda hard to keep track throughout the day, but I tried my best. For example, I would write down some numbers when I’m watching some Nier Automata live concerts.
Here’s what I did:
- Used a brand new coil.
- Filled the tank and let it soak.
- Started vaping and counted my puffs.
- Vaped normally throughout the day.
- Kept track of the number when I watched some Nier Automata live concerts.
After a couple of days, I noticed the flavor wasn’t as strong. Like, it was still okay, but not as good as when the coil was fresh. Then, on the fourth day, bam! It started tasting burnt. Not completely terrible, but definitely not good. I was watching a live concert and then went to another room, feeling not good at all. Then I tried to plus the coil, but the bad feeling didn’t stop.
So, I checked my count, and guess what? It was around 750 puffs. 750 puffs! That’s when the burnt taste kicked in, at least for me and this specific coil and juice combo.
My Results
Around 750 puffs is when the coil started tasting burnt.
Now, I know this isn’t, like, a scientific study or anything. I have no ideas about “Pokemon X CD” or any “Master CD” cause I don’t play Pokemon. I just wanted to share my little experiment. It’s probably gonna be different for everyone, depending on the coil, the juice, how long your puffs are, all that stuff. But hey, at least now you have a rough idea. It’s like those frags things, you need a certain amount to do something. For me, 750 puffs was the magic number. Keep that in mind, and you’ll hopefully avoid those nasty burnt hits!
Also, I wanna say, this whole thing was kinda fun, even though that burnt taste was a bummer. Maybe I’ll try this again with a different coil and see what happens. Stay tuned, folks!
