I’ve always been a curious guy, you know, the kind who likes to take things apart and see how they work. So, when all this buzz about vaping started, I figured, why not give it a shot myself?
I started with those disposable vapes, the ones you can pick up at any convenience store. They were okay, I guess. Easy to use, no need to fuss with buttons or refills. Just puff away until they’re done, then toss ’em in the trash. I tried a few different brands, played around with some different flavors. It was alright. But you know, they didn’t really last that long. And I felt kind of bad, throwing all those little plastic tubes away. Plus, they can get a bit pricey if you’re using them all the time.
Then, I heard about this thing called Vuse. It’s like a step up from the disposables, with these little pods you snap in. So I grabbed one of those starter kits to see what the fuss is about. Figured I’d compare it to the disposables, see which one’s better, you know?
First off, the Vuse felt, how do I say this… more substantial? Like a proper device, not just some cheap plastic stick. It had some weight to it, fit nicely in my hand. And the pods, they clicked in real satisfying-like. The Vuse Go seemed alright, especially since I saw something about it having a longer battery or something. I wasn’t sure, but figured I’d see.
My Little Experiment
I started using the Vuse alongside the disposables, switching back and forth. Tried to keep track of how long each one lasted, how many puffs I got, that kind of thing.
Now, I ain’t no scientist, but here’s what I found:
- Those disposable vapes, they were good for maybe a day, sometimes two if I wasn’t using them much.
- The Vuse pods, on the other hand, they seemed to last a bit longer. I could get a couple of days out of one, easy. And some folks online said they get like 800 puffs out of theirs? I didn’t count, but it definitely felt like more.
- The flavor on both was pretty similar. The Vuse had a bunch of different pod flavors to choose from, which was cool.
So, after a few weeks of this, I was kinda leaning towards the Vuse. It just felt like a better deal overall. You’re not throwing stuff away all the time, and the pods, while a bit more expensive upfront, they last longer, so it probably evens out in the end. Also, some other things I heard about were called STLTH Pods, but I didn’t even get to trying those.
But hey, that’s just my two cents. Like some smart guy said, it really comes down to what you’re looking for. If you want something super simple and don’t mind the waste, disposables are fine. But if you want something that’s a bit more, I don’t know, sophisticated? And maybe a bit better for the environment, then Vuse might be the way to go. And like I said, I just tried the Vuse ones and not any others like those STLTH ones, so keep that in mind.
