Okay, here’s my blog post about trying to find some good 50/50 PG/VG e-liquid brands in the USA:
So, I’ve been vaping for a while now, and I’ve really gotten into the 50/50 PG/VG blends. You know, the ones that give you a good throat hit but still have decent vapor production. I wanted to try some new stuff, and I figured I’d stick with US brands, just to keep things simple. Boy, was that an adventure!

The Hunt Begins
First, I started with a simple search. Just typed in “50/50 pg/vg e liquid brands usa”. The results? Let me tell you, it was overwhelming. So many brands, so many flavors… it was like information overload.
I decided I needed a plan. I made a list of a few things I was looking for:
- Reputable brands: I didn’t want some random stuff made in a bathtub.
- Good flavor options: I like variety.
- Reasonable prices: Vaping shouldn’t break the bank.
Narrowing it Down
I started digging through forums and online stores. I read tons of reviews, good and bad. I quickly learned that “best” is totally subjective. One person’s favorite flavor is another person’s worst nightmare.
I picked out a few brands that seemed to pop up a lot, with mostly positive feedback. I focused on ones that specifically mentioned their 50/50 blends, because not all brands even offer them.
The Taste Test (and Some Fails)
This is where things got interesting… and a little frustrating. I ordered a few small bottles from a couple of different brands. I was so excited to try them out!
Some were great! I found a couple of fruit flavors that I absolutely loved. The throat hit was perfect, and the vapor was just right. But, oh man, some were awful. I tried one that was supposed to be “strawberry cheesecake,” and it tasted like… well, let’s just say it wasn’t good. It went straight into the “never again” pile.
I also realized that nicotine strength is a big deal with 50/50 blends. I usually vape 6mg, but with some of these, it felt way too harsh. I probably should have gone with 3mg for a smoother experience.
The (Ongoing) Conclusion
So, after all that searching, ordering, and taste-testing, I can confidently say I’ve created a better knowledge and also found that finding the perfect 50/50 e-liquid is a journey, not a destination.

It’s all about trial and error. I’ve still got a bunch of brands on my list to try, and I’m sure I’ll find some more winners (and losers) along the way. That’s it all about.
