Okay, so I got my hands on a Geek Bar Pulse the other day, and like everyone else, I was wondering about the charging situation. I mean, it says “rechargeable,” but how does that actually work? Here’s how my little experiment went.
Finding the Charging Port
First things first, I had to figure out where to even plug this thing in. I flipped it around, checked the bottom, and there it was – a little USB-C port. It’s kinda hidden, so you might miss it if you’re not looking closely. It sits right next to the airflow switch which you can use to change the vaping mode.

Getting the Right Cable
Now, I’m a bit of a cable hoarder, so I had a bunch of USB-C cables lying around. I grabbed one that I normally use for my phone, thinking, “Hey, a USB-C is a USB-C, right?” Plugged one end into the Geek Bar and the other into a wall adapter I had.
The Charging Process
Once it was all plugged in, I looked for some kind of indicator. I looked at the screen and it began to show it was charging and at what percentage it was currently at. I found that pretty neat.
I didn’t time it exactly, but it felt like it charged up pretty quick. Maybe around an hour or so, which felt really good, and I was ready to get back to using it. I guess it depends on how drained the battery is to start with.
Things I Learned
- It’s definitely rechargeable. Don’t throw it away when the juice runs out!
- USB-C is the way to go. If you have a modern phone, you probably already have the right cable.
- Charging is simple. Just plug it in, wait, and you’re good to go.
So, yeah, charging a Geek Bar Pulse is totally doable and super easy. No rocket science involved, just a simple USB-C connection. Hope this helps anyone else who was wondering the same thing!
