Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this Vuse Alto thing for a while now, and I got really curious about what’s actually in these menthol pods. I mean, we puff on these things all day, but do we really know what we’re inhaling? So, I decided to dig in and find out.
First, I got myself a pack of Vuse Alto menthol pods. Then I started looking all over the internet, trying to find a straight answer about the ingredients. You wouldn’t believe how much back and forth there is on this. So many different answers, you know.
After a lot of searching, I finally got to something clear. It’s actually pretty basic stuff. The main things in these pods are propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin. They made up the base of the e-liquid, you know?

This is one of the main players. It’s in a lot of stuff, not just these pods. It helps make that vapor we see.
This one, it is another base ingredient. It’s thick and sweet. And it’s also common in lots of things we use every day.
Yeah, there’s a bit of water in there, too. Nothing surprising, just regular H2O.
This is what gives the menthol kick. They don’t really say what exactly is in the flavorings, but it is what makes it taste like menthol.
Some pods have it, some don’t. You can choose the strength. But I think some have nicotine salts instead of regular nicotine. It is a bit different.
So, after all this digging, I realized it is not as complicated as I thought. It is mainly just those two, PG and VG, making up the base. Then, you got your water, flavorings, and maybe some nicotine. That’s pretty much it! It was quite a journey figuring this out, but now I feel a bit more in the know about what I’m vaping.
I tore one of the pods apart, too, just to see what’s inside. Besides the liquid, there’s this heating thingy, a tube for the vapor, and some battery connectors. It is all pretty straightforward when you look at it.
Honestly, it was more about satisfying my curiosity than anything else. But hey, now we know what’s in those Vuse menthol pods. It’s just basic stuff, really. Hope this helps some of you guys out there who were also wondering about this!
