Okay, so I had this trip coming up, and I was stressing about how to get my vape stuff with me. You know, the usual deal – can I bring it on the plane, or is it gonna be a problem? I did some digging, asked around, and even hit up the airline’s customer service. Here’s the lowdown on what I found out and how I managed to fly with my cart without any issues.
First things first, I needed to figure out the rules. It’s all a bit confusing because there’s what the TSA says and then there’s what each airline decides. So, I started with the TSA’s website. They’ve got this whole section on what you can and can’t bring. Turns out, for vape stuff, it’s mostly about the batteries and liquids.

Batteries and liquids:
- Batteries: These bad boys need to be in your carry-on. No checked bags for them. It’s because they can catch fire, and it’s safer if they’re up in the cabin where people can deal with it.
- Liquids: This is where your vape juice or carts come in. They follow the same rules as your shampoo and toothpaste. So, it’s the 3-1-1 rule – each container has to be 3.4 ounces or less, all of them in one clear, quart-sized bag, and you can only have one of those bags.
After getting the TSA stuff sorted, I checked with my airline. I just went to their website and looked up their rules. Some are cool with vapes, and some have extra rules. Mine was pretty chill, just said to follow the TSA guidelines, and we’re good.
With all this info, I started packing. I made sure my vape device was empty, took out the batteries, and put them in a safe case in my carry-on. Then, I double-checked my carts. They were all under the size limit, so I popped them in a clear bag, just like my other liquids. It was actually pretty straightforward once I knew what to do.
Security was a breeze. I put my clear bag of liquids in the bin, just like everyone else. My carry-on went through, and no one batted an eye at my vape gear. I guess they see this stuff all the time. Boarding was normal, and I just stashed my bag in the overhead bin.
Of course, you can’t actually use your vape on the plane. That’s a big no-no. But having it with me meant I could use it as soon as I landed, which was great.
So, yeah, you totally can take a cart on a flight. Just play by the rules, pack it right, and you won’t have any trouble. It’s all about knowing what’s up with batteries and liquids and sticking to the airline’s policy. Happy travels, and keep it cloudy, but not on the plane!
