So, I’ve been messing around with this crazy idea lately – a disposable vape that plays music. Yeah, you heard that right. Sounds wild, I know, but I thought, why not give it a shot? I mean, we got vapes that do all sorts of things these days, so a music-playing one isn’t that far out there.
First thing I did was grab a regular disposable vape, one of those cheap ones you can get anywhere. Then, I started looking into tiny music players. I found these super small MP3 player modules online, the kind you can stick into almost anything. They’re about the size of a thumbnail, perfect for what I had in mind.

Next up, I had to figure out how to power this whole thing. Luckily, the vape already had a battery, so I just needed to see if it could handle the extra load. After some quick calculations and a bit of testing, it seemed like it would work. I did have to add a tiny switch, though, so I could turn the music on and off without messing with the vape itself.
Now came the tricky part – getting the music player inside the vape. I carefully took apart the vape, making sure not to break anything important. It was a bit fiddly, but I managed to find a spot where the MP3 player module would fit snugly. I used some hot glue to secure it in place, then wired it up to the battery and the switch. Oh, and I also added a tiny speaker I salvaged from an old pair of headphones. It wasn’t super loud, but hey, it worked!
Make sure the music playing function does not affect the original use.
- First Use: Then I try to use the vape to see if it works as before.
- Second Add: After confirming that there is no problem, start adding the music module.
Putting it all back together was a bit of a challenge. I had to make sure all the wires were tucked away neatly and that the vape still looked like, well, a vape. But after some careful maneuvering, I got it done. I loaded up a few songs onto the MP3 player, flipped the switch, and bam – music-playing vape!
It’s not exactly going to win any awards for sound quality, and it definitely looks a bit janky, but it works! It’s a fun little project, and it’s always a good conversation starter. Plus, it’s pretty cool to vape while listening to your favorite tunes, all from the same device.
I even saw online that some companies are already making these things. There’s one called WISMEC ACTIVE that looks like a little speaker, and another called Swype Vape Phone 30K that’s supposed to be like a smartphone and vape combined. Mine’s not as fancy as those, but hey, it’s my own little creation, and that’s what matters, right?
I don’t know if these things will ever really take off, but it’s fun to see what’s possible. Who knows what they’ll come up with next? Maybe a vape that makes coffee? Haha, just kidding… unless?
