Alright, so the other day, I was just chilling and using my Geek Bar, right? And suddenly, this thing started going off on its own, auto-firing like crazy. I was like, “What the heck?” because it’s never done that before. I tried to stop it, but it just kept going, and I started to worry a bit, not gonna lie.
First Attempt

So, I tried the usual stuff. I blew into the mouthpiece and the air holes at the bottom. No luck. It was still firing away. Then I tried to plug both ends to block the airflow. That worked, but only as long as I kept them plugged. Not exactly a solution, you know?
Figuring It Out
After messing around a bit, I remembered someone saying something about the puff sensor getting stuck. So I thought, “Maybe that’s it.” I looked it up online, and yeah, seems like others have had this issue too. It’s something about the sensor not realizing when you’ve stopped puffing.
Digging Deeper
- I tried taking out the pod first to see if that was causing any issues. Nope, still auto-firing.
- Then, I gave it a good shake, pretty hard, to see if any liquid was messing with the airflow. I shook that thing like a madman, but still no change.
- Next, I tried blowing into the airflow channel to clear out any potential liquid. It felt a bit silly, but I was willing to try anything. Still, no dice.
The Realization
After all that, I realized it’s probably not something I can fix on my own. The device might just be busted. It’s a bummer, but it happens, I guess.
Conclusion
So, if your Geek Bar is auto-firing, you’re not alone. It’s a bit of a pain, but it seems like it might be a common issue. You can try a few things like blowing into it or shaking it, but if that doesn’t work, you might just need to get a new one. That’s what I’m gonna do, anyway. It’s a shame because I liked that thing, but what can you do, right?
