Alright, so, the other day I bought this Geek Bar, and man, was I pissed when it just wouldn’t hit. You know, you take a puff, and nothing. Nada. So I’m like, “What the hell?” I figured I’d share what I did to fix it, ’cause maybe some of you are running into the same problem.
First off, I made sure the thing was charged. These Geek Bars have a little USB port, so I plugged it into a charger. The light came on, which means it’s charging, so that’s good. I waited until the light changed, signaling it’s fully charged, and tried hitting it again. Still nothing. Okay, next step.

I remembered reading somewhere that sometimes the airflow sensor can get messed up. This thing basically tells the device when you’re taking a puff. So, I figured, maybe it’s just stuck or something. I blew into the mouthpiece, like a quick, strong puff of air. Just trying to clear out whatever might be blocking it.
After that, I connected the charger back in. Then, with it still plugged in, I tried taking a few slow drags. My thought was that if the wick wasn’t getting enough juice, this might help pull some into it. I unplugged it, waited a few seconds, and boom! It worked. Finally, I could get a hit.
So, let’s recap what I did, step by step, ’cause it might help you out:
- Charged the Geek Bar: I connected it to a power source and made sure the battery was fully charged.
- Blew into the mouthpiece: I gave it a quick, strong puff of air to try and clear the airflow sensor.
- Took slow drags while plugged in: This might be a bit odd, but it seems to help draw some e-liquid into the wick.
That’s all I did. It was a bit of a hassle, but I managed to get my Geek Bar working again. If you’re having the same issue, give these steps a try. It might save you the frustration of a dead vape. Just remember to be patient and go through each step carefully. Good luck!
