So, I finally got my hands on the GeekVape Aegis Legend 3 kit. You know, I’ve been eyeing this thing for a while, and I gotta say, it’s a beast. Straight out of the box, this thing feels solid, like it could take a beating and keep on going. And let me tell you, the IP68 rating isn’t just for show. I accidentally dropped it while I was fumbling around – clumsy me – and it survived without a scratch.
The first thing I did was unpack everything. Inside, I found the mod itself, the Z Fli Tank, a couple of coils, a USB cable, and some spare parts. I grabbed one of the coils, the Z XM they’re calling it, and popped it into the tank. They claim these coils last for like 60ml of juice. We’ll see about that, but so far, the flavor is pretty darn good. And the vapor? Clouds for days, my friends, clouds for days.

Next up, the batteries. This thing takes two 18650s. Luckily I have some spares in my box. I opened up the battery door at the bottom, which feels really sturdy by the way, and popped them in. Always pay attention to the polarity markings.
Powering It Up
Once the batteries were in, I pressed the fire button five times to turn it on. The screen lit up, showing all the usual info – wattage, battery level, coil resistance. Speaking of wattage, this thing goes up to 200W. More than I’ll ever need, but it’s nice to have the option, I guess.
- Five clicks on, five clicks off. Easy peasy.
- The AS Chip 4.0 is supposed to be pretty smart. I haven’t messed around with all the settings yet, but it seems to be doing its job just fine.
- Smart Lock feature is pretty cool. It automatically detects the coil and sets the best wattage. No more burnt coils!
Taking a Vape
I filled up the tank with some of my favorite e-juice. After letting the coil soak for a few minutes, I took my first puff. Wow. Just wow. The flavor was intense, and the vapor production was insane. I had to open a window! This Z Fli Tank really lives up to its name. I mean, it’s a top-airflow tank, so no leaks, which is always a plus in my book.
Overall, I’m really impressed with the GeekVape Aegis Legend 3 kit. It’s a well-built, powerful device that delivers great flavor and vapor. It feels like it’s built to last, and the new Z XM coils are definitely a step up. If you’re looking for a new sub-ohm setup, I’d say give this one a shot. You won’t be disappointed.
I’ll keep using this bad boy and see how it holds up over time. Maybe I’ll do an update in a few weeks. Until then, happy vaping, everyone!
