So, I’ve been messing around with these 5-gram vape carts lately, and I thought I’d share my experience on how long one of these suckers actually lasts.
First off, I started tracking my usage. I got this 5-gram cart, and I decided to see how many days it would take me to finish it. I consider myself an average user—I vape a few times a day, usually in the evenings to unwind.

I started by taking a few puffs each day, nothing crazy, just enough to get that nice, mellow feeling. Each puff was around 2-3 seconds. I made a mental note of how many puffs I was taking and how often.
- Day 1-7: The first week went by pretty quickly. I was vaping about 3-4 times a day, taking about 4-5 puffs each time. So, that’s roughly 12-20 puffs a day. The cart still felt pretty full, and I was getting those nice effects, lasting me a good 2 hours each time.
- Day 8-14: Into the second week, I noticed I wasn’t having to charge my vape pen as often, which was a good sign. I kept up the same routine, and by the end of the second week, I could tell the cart was starting to get lighter, but it was still hitting well. The effects were still there, just maybe not as potent.
- Day 15-21: By the third week, I was definitely starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel. I was still getting about 10-15 puffs a day, but the vapor was getting thinner, and the flavor wasn’t as strong. The high was shorter, too, maybe around an hour or so.
I also tried a little trick I read about online: holding the vapor in my lungs for about 5 seconds instead of just puffing and blowing. Honestly, it did seem to make a difference. I felt like I was getting more out of each puff, and the cart seemed to last a bit longer because I didn’t need to hit it as much.
By the end of the third week, the cart was pretty much done. I might have gotten a few more weak puffs out of it, but it wasn’t really worth it.
So, based on my experience, a 5-gram cart lasted me about 21 days. Keep in mind, I was using it pretty regularly but not excessively. If you’re a heavier user, you might go through it faster, and if you use it less, it’ll obviously last longer.
Hope this little experiment helps someone out there! It’s always good to know what you’re getting into with these things.
